she was given up by wolves who claimed she was "too socialist for the pack".
LOL... I think it was all that 'pecking order at the carcass' that got her booted.

It's lovely - if you enjoy hearing about how brilliant Ann Coulter is, how misguided The New York Times's editorial page is, and how valiant the president is as he tries to stop America's slide into paganism.
So, it's lovely...

Bet you are right too...
The only way to get anything like that printed in the NYT is to make if look like a red state hit piece.

Oh, and one more thing...
Blood may be thicker than gravy...but gravy tastes a lot better with Thanksgiving dinner.

This is one of those snowflake-in-a-blast-furnace rarities - a Dowd piece I actually enjoyed reading.
Why? She acknowledges that she's the stigmatized oddball in her own family, all the quotes from her brother's letter are spot-on and devastatingly true, and the only pathetic defense she can dredge up for her own twisted worldview is a reference to some obscure gay caballero author.
Its refreshing to read a column by the Queen of the Juniper Berry that doesn't involve projectile vomiting.

I really think she aims to be the Coulter of the left.I don't think thats her goal. If it was, she would actually be very dangerious.
I think she sees herself as giving people the "inside scoop" from the cocktail party circuit on the opinions of the elite.
I've given to nicknaming her column the "cocktail diaries".
Its pretty hard to find a left wing version of Ann Coulter, Coulter may have a good sense of humor, but the research she pours herself into, and the time she spends doing work, is not given enough credit. Somone like Dowd, who probably spends no more then a few minuits working on her columns, would have to devote half of her life to be the equal.

>>"WTF is potato stuffing?"<<
You may be right about the Dowdy one, but Potato Stuffing is a real thing. In some parts of the country, they make the stuffing with Potatoes instead of Bread. It is actually very good.

Save, this is so refreshing. My family is by and large conservative. I have a younger brother who is involved in real estate now dating a women who has a small agency in a blue county in Wisconsin. We had to hear all about the latest diversity training for agents. The rest of the family collectively bit their tongues
