Islamic Europe? The Rise of Eurabia
BibArch ^ | Sep 2003 | Michael P.Germano

Can pacifist old Europe survive Islam? Will Islam swamp France, Germany, and the rest of the secular socialist states of old Europe?

European culture is under siege irrespective of attempts at European unification into a "Christianized" United States of Europe. Liberalization, secularization, and the need for cheap labor brought about liberal immigration policies in some European states and the inauguration of assured cultural suicide. The result is the migration of millions of Islamic workers and their families into western Europe who have no respect for nor desire to adopt its culture as their own. This has heightened anti-Semitism and cultural conflict throughout the region for Islamic culture is neither European nor Christian in its values, ideals, or mores.

Christian and Islamic cultures are mutually incompatible religious systems . Adherents of Islamic culture devote themselves to making their religion and way of life the dominate culture of every land they enter. Once in political control they set about to minimize the freedoms of non-Muslims. The wars of the 21st century seem destined to be between Muslims and their Christian, Hindu, and Buddhist neighbors. Should Islam continue to grow in Western Europe at its present rate, within this 21st century it will become the dominate European religious and political force.

Do not expect Islamic immigrants to become westernized Europeans seeking democratic ideals such as equality for women and the freedom of religion and the press. Such freedoms do not exist in any true Islamic state. The Islamic persecution of Christian populations in Muslim countries is well known. Freedom for the indigenous Christian population in Egypt, Jordan, Turkey, Iran, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia are illusory. Ask yourself a basic question: What Islamic nation is a functioning democracy allowing all its citizens the freedom of religion? None.

"European culture is under siege"

If they had a strong culture, this would be impossible.

Unlike our culture, which is exported and copied all over the world.

Mass migration from any country/culture is a big problem for the country they enter.

Ain't THAT the truth. The problem here in America is that the people don't vote on such things as immigration reform. Well, maybe now they might if they care.

Great truth in this statement. And this, in the face of those that condemn all religion - lumping them all together. There is a radical difference between Christianity and Islam!

Christianity gets ignored and the door opens to whatever can get a foothold. In this case it is Islam. People need to get back to Chritianity because just controlling Islam will still leave the door open for something else, and that may be even worst than Islam.Don't think it can't happen. Think Kymer Rouge.

Huh? Who's attempting that?

I thought the only attempt at European unification being undertaken are aimed at a paganized, secular Euro-Union, sprouting from Brussels.

The French, who fuss about their language becoming tainted with American English words, have allowed their cities to swell with Islamic peoples holding to a very un-French way of life.

For all their scheming and posturing, the French are doomed. They know it too, but won't confront reality until it is too late (if then).

Question: What are the French terror alert levels?
Level 1 - Cower
Level 2 - Hide
Level 3 - Break and Run
Level 4 - Surrender
Level 5 - Collaborate

I agree with your assessment of Europe being mostly secular.

I remember earlier in the year following the box office results and press accounts for Mel's Passion as it opened around the world.

It was interesting to see each country's response. Except for Poland, Ireland, Italy and parts of Spain, the response was quite lukewarm.

I remember that very well; I mostly kept tabs on the international feedback right here on FR :)

As a Protestant Christian, I'd have to say that's pretty shameful about the rest of Europe! "Lutheran" Germany & Scandinavia? "Reformed" Netherlands and Switzerland? What the heck's wrong with you people?!?

Well, thank God at least the Catholic countries have maintained their faith. They'll need it in the next few decades as Islam continues to encroach.

I agree, mostly, but we still need to be careful ourselves, even in the US. Keep in mind that even though the GOP triumphed in this recent election, the "culture war" still goes on - and the judiciary, the schools, and the "mainstream media" are still all firmly on the side of liberal-think. This includes sentimentality and political correctness about militant Islam.

This was first published in Sep 2003. They ran off the Christians since then.

Indeed. They are fretting about the table settings, not to mention the deck chairs, on the Titanic.

Does anybody recall the name of the book about the Crusades that debunks the numbers of Arabs killed in that conflict? I'm tired of hearing about the "slaughter" of Muslims by Christians in the Crusades. I want some facts to refute that claim.

Ah, thanks for the clarification! I do remember the flap about the purposeful exclusion of Europe's Christian roots in the EU Constamatootion...I just didn't recall how recent it was.
