Your rep proceeds you even online! heeheee.. Hugs Grammie and goodnight! I will look at freepmail in the AM! Thanks.
Good night, Dearie.
Me? I'm gonna go to the post office now....
Ok, Santa letters, hmmm...
I just asked Mrs. HJ how she'd go about it, and she suggested Army Community Services or the AF/Navy equivalent...Family Support Center?
If you don't have a base nearby, is there a Reserve Armory in your town? They'll have a support center.
Or check neighborhood churches. There's just something about the church network that works...
Hiya PatriotG....it is neat to know that so many people are willing to help if they are just given an avenue. It would do my heart good if all our troops, worldwide, got things from 50 different groups who honor our troops. The need to counteract the MSM is tremendous. We all can help by supporting our troops. Thank you!
Let me know if I can help...
I'd be happy to...
Just need somewhere to start!
Ms.B
Thanks for the info! I ALMOST stopped at the police station on the way home from the post office just now...just to see if THEY had any contacts.
But...I didn't. I may yet.
Might also check the local schools and daycares.
My daughter's school and my son's school and day care know lots about their kids! My son's teacher knows that one of her students' dad is going back for a second tour...and that he was with the ones that found Saddam!
Good idea! Thanks, trussell!!!
Thanks for the ping!
Hope it helps!!
This is wonderful to see so many supporting our troops!
Also, one of the local tv news channels (southern California area) showed the story of the group that started the http://www.amillionthanks.org website. They exceeded their goal of a million cards/letters of thanks to the troops. They were shown displaying some of the thankyou cards they had received for mailing and I actually spotted one of the 30 handmade cards that I had sent them. Now I wish I would have sent more!
Thanks, Susannah, for caring enough to make and send all those cards of support for our troops. Our troops can never be shown too much support by the folks at home. Good job, and how cool is that to be able to see your own.
BTTT!!!!!!
BTTT!!!!!!!
smiling as I read this. You all are too much! ...in the best way, of course :o)
Happy holidays to all.
Mission Accomplished ~ Operation Season's Greetings ~ Bump!
My brother sent me a contact. Before I write her....uh....
Thank you.
Years ago, I was in the same situation as the head of one of those families.
