(Snip)Last month's controversywhen advertisers pulled their ads because they thought the show was too risquéonly made more people desperate to see "Housewives." "Yeah, I have some women wearing some skimpy stuff and a gardener that takes off his shirt, but I also know that I'm well within my rights to do so under the heading of soap opera," says Marc Cherry, the show's creator, who is actually a somewhat CONSERVATIVE, GAY REPUBLICAN. "The stuff that goes on in daytime is far more racy."

I know this show has caused a lot of hub-bub--and I thought this little detail was more than a little ironic. Whoda thunk it???

(1) One can be a sodomite or one can be conservative. Not both.
(2) Again we see that a vile sitcom, a la "Sex in the City", is the product of a woman-hating sodomite.

Welcome to FR, and let's take a vote by raising our hands (come on, mouseketeers!)
Does anybody here watch 'Housewives', or whatever the sam_hell sam_whiskey is excited about?

Okay so this show is raunchy, what about some of the ads themselves. Take the Levitra ad or any of the the erectile dysfunction ads. There are also about 80% of all the "comedy shows" with the smart strong-willed wife and the bumbling stupid husband. Frankly, my favorite show is "If Walls Could Talk" on H&G.

Never has "Unnngh" seemed more appropriate. :-)

Oh yeah, another one of those "somewhat" conservative gay republicans. The only part I have no doubt about is the gay thingy.

What with all the ads for panty liners/shields etc, I'm still waiting for those ads for:
"Wild Stallion, sheath cleaner for the mustang in your life.
Cleans AND refreshes, a hint of musk all night long.
When someone asks about sheath cleaners,
don't say Neigh,
just say WILD STALLION!

I generally don't watch anything on network television that does not involve pro football and baseball or college football and basketball. And there are times when I wonder why I watch those based on the antics of the players and the commercials for the other junk on the network.
I gave up most of network programming before I got married and the rest when my children were learning to talk. I don't miss it at all.

The homos and other perverts are mocking the straight people through these extreme shows. Don't others SEE this or UNDERSTAND what they are doing? Meanwhile these perverts are laughing their arses off all the way to the bank at the expense of heterosexuals.

Why watch a filthy show which glamourizes adultery?
