Paul Bedard's "Washington Whispers" column in the latest edition of U.S. news reports that ". . . some friends and allies advise against placing bets that the former first lady will be the nation's 44th president."
I'd advise against making those bets whether she runs or not.

No, please...bet the house!

Smokescreen! Not necessarily - she may very well be more gutless than she is ambitious. Also, she may realize that she's becoming increasingly unelectable at the national level, and probably ought to stick to her comfy blue state post.

She just wants to be begged. Sort of like the atheletes and musicians who retire and unretire.

oh geesh. 4 years of this "it's all about me" crap. I really don't care about Hillary as a candidate right now.

Looks like Hillary's gonna be mighty busy with her Extreme Makeover. The question is---in light of the resounding 2004 Values Voters Victories---how "conservative" will Hillary get? After she opens a charge at Wal-Mart, enrolls in divinity school, and gets a lifetime membership in the John Birch Society, she'll need to get a shopper's card at Sam's Club, and schedule daily morning prayer services in her Senate office, just to make sure she covers all bases.
Maybe Hillary will campaign for 2008 wearing the official
DNC apron, and give Easy-Bake oven demonstrations.
(Maybe one of our cleverest FReepers will photoshop Hillary's face on the cookie baker.)

A "not running" statement gets MSM air time. Just another way to keep the EVIL ones name in public eye.

f a candidate doesn't make clear their intentions early, they risk losing the party's movers and shakers to early runners.
That's what she's up to... Lie low and try again in a few years...

And that's just the to-do-list for next week!

The Dems are just keeping the Hillary for Pres buzz going.
They will be doing this for 2 and a half years.
I America wants a ruthless Marxist as President, vote Hillary.

Hillary is anything but gutless, she's the most arrogant power crazed woman since Evita Perrone. Hillary simply realized that four years was too long to run a Presidential campaign, so she has opted for the far less controversial senatorial campaign that she will once again run on a national level, claiming to be raising money and working to help the Democrats take back the Senate.

There is no way this former co-president is not running.
Just as she was co-president, never accountable for HER decisions, is the same manner in which she will run for president.
The 'stealth' candidate, who is too important to trudge through the frozen fields of Iowa and New Hampshire for a third time, awaits that prime opportunity to strike. She is like a snake, hissing her poison upon the masses, constricting her fellow liberals, shedding her skin transforming herself into a shining new slithering serpent.
No she is not the devil but she sure has perfected his method of operation.
