It's awfully hard to 'accidentally' hit another ship with naval guns.

See how much happier everybody would be if only the Brits sank it at the time of Falklands war?

Four Batch 1 Type 22 frigates are operated by the Brazilian Navy Greenhalgh (ex-HMS Broadsword), Dodsworth (ex-HMS Brilliant), Bosisio (ex-HMS Brazen) and
Rademaker (ex-HMS Battleaxe). Battleaxe: Laid Down: 4th February 1976, Launched: 18th May 1977, Commissioned: 28th March 1980
Nice looking boat. I wonder where the hole is? Article says its not visable from the air, so they must have been using unfused or dummy rounds.

Well, sold it to Brazil after the Falklands War. The Brazilians weren't involved in that war.
To: Strategerist
I note the story doesn't say what ship fired the shot.

This Brazilian nurse is standing by for the injured.
I sure hope Iran and Pakistan don't do any joint "nuclear exercises" and have a similar incident.

It's awfully hard to 'accidentally' hit another ship with naval guns. Heck no, it isn't! I used to be a checksight observer, and I can tell you it's really easy to...
