This can't be right. MSM tells me that it's all going horribly wrong, that it is a quagmire. There are no happy iraqis, especially children.
P.S. As much as I love my husband, there is a special place in my heart for the Scots.

420 runners line up for a 10km charity fun run at Basrah Airport to support the BBC Children in Need appeal on November 19th, 2004ROTFL!! Love the guy in the pink poodle skirt and blonde pigtails!
These are such awesome pictures. So much for "we're going it alone in Iraq", huh?

These pictures are really great aren't they? Almost as good as one of your threads. Yours have more fire and stuff though.

US flag on arm? Looks like it.
M107 50cal sniper rifle (US).
IBA armor (US).
Could this be a US soldier?
Can't tell the cammo pattern from the picture, the Polish and US desert is very similar and the pic don't give the detail.

Thanks for these- they make tears come to my eyes in ANGER that we never get to see these great photos, and it makes me so mad that these noble people are sacrificing their lives to help a people develop freedom for their nation, yet we aren't a true coalition. It makes me hate the likes of MIchael Moore and Howard Dean all that much more.

Dam this goes fast. By the time I wrote, you had posted! BEat me to it :)
That's an M16 in the background on the wall. That's a US Leopold like scope on the M107.
That's a US team with 99.99999% certainty.

May God bless all the Coalition troops in Iraq during this Christmas Season. We don't get to see many photos showing our brave allies, here in the US.
Thanks!

Can't tell the cammo pattern from the picture, the Polish and US desert is very similar and the pic don't give the detail. This only reconfirms that we're acting unilaterily because that picture was the only photographic proof that the Poles sent troops. [/DU think]
Thanks, other people pointed out my error.

Dittos! Amazing pics of great troops getting the job done and in one case honoring a fallen comrade.
The puppy comment by another poster was deflating but stuff happens.

Diogenesis,
Thank you for the ping of people doing great works! As we win the hearts and minds of the younger generation, peace may stand a chance as they see who the Coalition of the Willing really are, regardless of what they had been told by terrorist's just a couple of years ago..
What president Bush did in short order,in forming the "Coalition of the Willing" is what the goofs at the U.N. could only dream about doing.

What's the significance of "FOB Kalsu"? That's a familiar name to some of us.
