I think you hit the nail on the head. The Left are perfectly comfortable embracing fanatics as long as they are useful and they think there is no threat to their own power. When the recognition that radical Islam is in fact a grave threat to their own ideology finally hits home, things will change. It appears they are already changing, but overall they will probably try to hang onto an obsolete picture of reality until the roof caves in on them.

Which just goes to show that this nation needs to get back to its Christian roots. When I was in the eighth grade we read a Bible verse before class started every morning. We had a Jewish boy in our class and he always read from the Old Testament. There was no problem there. I believe that we must show respect for all religions, but whatever happened to the majority being able to express themselves? The minority may leave the room and have their own time of prayer or not if they are atheists. And, we should teach our daughters not to get involved with Muslim men. They should see the movie "Not Without My Daughter" and real life clips of the lives of Muslim women.

If they need more immigrants, how about the Mexicans? They are Christian and willing to work. No problem with them. They just need to learn to speak English if they don't already. I say that we should shut the door to Islamic immigrants unless they have been thoroughly checked out and they are in danger of being killed because they are loyal to the United States.

I watched the short clip out of Van Gogh's movie for which he was killed. While the movie was probably a soft "R", it wasn't so much the flesh that would have bothered anyone, it was the way the mooslim man (men) treated their (possession intended, this is not a grammatical error) women. It was a great expose` of what the fundy's don't want anyone to know, was the way I read it. Anyone planning on doing an expose`, heads up and keep the heat close!

Not to sound like a radical, but the elephant is in everyone's country, and he knows he's been spotted. personal advice? Know your firearms. Take a tip from the Mormons about having a healthy supply of food stashed. Live life to it's fullest. The day that some goofs attack America with the intension of taking it, will make 9/11 look like child's play. Anything that faintly resembles Mideast (right, wrong, or indifferent) will probably be dead within a week. Then the games for finding the "others" will start. I'm not suggesting violence or anything, it's just a dark look at the future if we don't get control of what's attacking our underbelly currently.

Thanks for the ping. The population numbers for the US are most interesting, particularly the % of arabs who are mosque attendees. In Australia, we seem to have had few problems with the approx 300.000 muslim immigrants until the arab imams began to take over the mosques with Saudi money. It was their preaching which resulted in attacks on our young women (packrapes) and the hunting down of homosexuals whom they said should be killed 'by throwing off tall buildings'. (Must be in the koran somewhere?) A certain number, perhaps one hundred from an Indonesian background, departed quickly when their homes were searched and computers were taken. From the Australian experience, it would seem surveillance and intolerance works a treat! Thank God we have few PC laws here. The packrapists (brothers) received sentences of 50 years. Our newspapers are not constrained from identifying the perpetrators of crime as to their country of origin or religion. I believe it is absolutely essential that each citizen of a sovereign nation is able to speak out and make their opinion known. PC laws are a potential death sentence IMO.

of the Koran, while the Holy Bible "ist verboten".

I suspect the figure will be more like 24-48 hours in my neighborhood.

I say this as I ALMOST got into fisticuffs with a fellow who accosted a
Middle-Eastern-looking cashier at the local Ralphs grocery store on 9-12.

I hesitated as the guy verbally vented...and fortunately that was all

From the Australian experience I am inclined to place the identity of the enemy straight into the arab camp, not into the muslim people who came from other idigenous sources, such as Iraq, Iran and Afghanistan, most of whom have lived here peacefully for generations, particularly the Afghans who brought their camels here a hundred years ago. (That's why we have 500.000 feral camels in the Centre btw.)
Our mooselimb problems seemed to commence with the spread of arab agitation in the mosques. Saudi arab money and wahabbe teachings are the poison IMO.

Thought provoking questions from you..."(on radical islamic fundamentalism)" I believe we must first of all concentrate on the source. To myself it appears the radical views all come from Saudi Arabia and the particular sect (wahabbe) that interprets the koran and hadith as the only way a muslim can be permitted to live. I am reminded of the statement a Jewish friend of mine often makes: NO ARABS-NO TERROR. I believe she is right.

I am currently reading The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich, written by William L. Shirer. Quotes....(snips)

I am fully aware of the practise your photographs illustrate so graphically. Although utterly repugnant, our disapproval will not stamp out a custom. Frankly, what they do to their own bothers me NOT. That does not mean we would consider tolerating such behaviour in our society, does it? We do have laws against child abuse.
