Truly amazing times. Four years or so ago, my boss was diagnosed with CML. Gleevec has been an absolute wonder drug for him, total remission. What's really amazing is that prior to Gleevec, CML was a terminal diagnosis.

Its great knowing that they've now got another promising drug in the wings for those who don't respond to Gleevec.

All the leukemia cancers have had super new drugs. Now we need some good news for brain, breast, etc, etc. It is interesting now how they do cancerous tumors. They use to do surgery first and then chemo and radiology. Now they shrink down the tumor first with chemo, then do surgery.

Seven years ago, my sister received a bone marrow treatment for CML. She celebrated her seventh "birthday" in November. No sign of Lukemia and no signs of rejection.

Thank God for research, and Fred Hutchins Cancer Research Hospital in Seattle.

.Her doctors called it the most boring case of Lukemia they had ever seen. Pray for the day they are all that boring...

God bless you. (Evidently He already has.) I can still weep for the people I knew and loved and wanted so desperately to get well.

Miracles happen. I know of two bona fide cases of incurable cancer (one metastatic melanoma and one metastatic colon carcinoma) that were miraculously cured.

I don't know why all aren't, but I do know that there is a purpose, that God answers prayers, and that many hideous diseases that were incurable just a few years ago are now curable.

Even now my eyes are filled with tears.

Western Civilization is not perfect, but it is in tune with truth, and the only truth is God and God's truth.

The world is in a historic, global struggle between enlighted Western Civilization and the forces of darkness and superstition. There is truly a clash of civilizations.

Western Civilization is well worth defending.

While we in the West are transplanting hearts and discovering truths that will cure diseases as long as the printed page can last, Muslims, locked in darkness and committed to false dogma above everything else, are blowing things up, committing suicide, and doing their best to avoid truth. They have nothing to offer.

This is one struggle that we must win.
