"You've established a reputation as someone who has fought for the little guy against the forces of big corporations and Wall Street. Do you like that image?

Why no, Campbell. The first goal of my campaign will be to soften that image and hopefully people will forget about it.

Bingo. With Corzine running for NJ Governor, how long will it be till Kristen announces for his seat?

The next day

She is a very bitter person who can't let go of her anger and I agree .. we will be seeing a lot of her

UGH. Thank you for the report. You are probably right about Kristen. A New Jersey senate seat wowuld probably be her choice.

I'm having a brian freeze moment

Who is the Congresswomen from NY who's husband was killed in that train shooting ?

That is who Kristen kind of reminds me of

Once again, thank you for your daily updates, G. The time and effort you put in really shows-I appreciate your commentary especially.

The story about the magazine cover was funny, and a good analogy to make.

JUST as I finished reading the replies on the this thread I backed out and then MSNBC introduced......Kristen Breitweiser.

She's spewing now, so I popped back in to report that she was on tv again.

BTW, Chrissy had her on last week AND a man from the "good" 9/11 families. This man was wonderful and took no guff from Ms. Breitweiser and since he was in the same position Chrissy couldn't remonstrate that he was out of line. It was wonderful to see her called upon to defend some of her outrageous statements. I wish I could remember the gentleman's name, he was terrific.

BTW, Carolyn McCarthy is the woman you're thinking of in.

Glad you enjoy the threads. I haven't been in touch with that senior partner in years. He retired young (he inherited millions from his mother who was a leading mystery writer). I think I'll try to track him down and say hello and remind him of the Khomenei story!

As for time and effort: it really doesn't take long at all to prepare my updates. You'll notice that I usually post them within minutes of the end of the first half-hour. I really wind up spending much more time monitoring the threads and responding to folks!

Khomeini was more fair and balanced than Breiweiser.

Campbell Brown is as bad as Katie Couric. My wife gets a kick out of how badly she dresses.

That's her ... though Kristen, to me is a more bitter person and she is not going to go away. She for some reason needs to hang onto that anger.

I really don't mean to sound harsh ... but if need be she will use the "poor widow" story for all she can.

I am sorry she lost her husband and I am sorry she has to raise her daughter by herself .. but I do not like the way she is trying to manipulate peoples feeling of sympathy.

I'm sure her new best friend is Carolyn Maloney.

Thank you for putting up with "katie-wanna-be-Kristin". OMG, I can't stand her and she has politicized 9/11 more so than anyone else that I've heard. Keep-em coming gov.

The story about the magazine cover was funny, and a good analogy to make.

Retelling the story about the Time Magazine cover of Khomenei inspired me to try to contact my old senior partner described in the tale.

Sadly, an internet search revealed that he passed away in 2000. His name was Keith Highet. He was a major figure in the international law bar, and also a good and funny man who gave me and many others wonderful opportunities at the beginning of our careers. May he rest in peace.

Thanks for the ping.
Breitweiser and the scumbag "Jersey Girls" would urinate all over the corpses of their alleged "loved ones" if it helped them with their political agenda of smearing Bush and assisting the Democrat Party. They are an embarrassment.

Rush jsut played Lauer's interview with Breitweiser.

Rush is mentioning how Breitweiser opposed the Sensenbrenner provisions on drivers licenses for illegal aliens.

Breitweiser made a point of saying that she's more worried about the money angle than stopping illegal aliens from getting driver's licenses. I don't know - that statement bothered me on two levels. One, she implies that the Bush administration has done nothing about stopping the money for terrorists and nothing could be further from the truth. And two, illegal aliens shouldn't be getting driver's licenses because, well.... they're not here legally.
