A list of advertisers who have removed the word 'Christmas' from their TV ads. So far I've noted Target and Sears. Please add to the list.

I think we should still support Sears since it "fills the gap" in salary and maintains benefits for Reservists called up to active duty

I don't shop at Target anymore, but Sears surprises me.

Maybe another list of companies that *do* celebrate Christmas would be good too, so we can be sure to patronize them :). In & Out Burger employees in CA are wearing buttons that say MERRY CHRISTMAS! I emailed In & Out to thank them.

Macy's did.
Well, they did pre-christmas, although they still do plan on having an "After Christmas sale"

Seeing they support the military, I'll still shop there.

Sprint has a commercial that shows a banner that reads "Holiday Pageant" instead of "Christmas Pageant."

That annoys me.

Let me jump in and say that I haven't seen any ads for Sears that have the word Christmas in them. There may be some, I haven't seen any. If anyone knows of any, please correct me,

I know that the year before they had a jingle with Santa or Christmas that stuck in my head. It seems like they've succumbed to pc also.

Bloomingdale's is part of Federated Stores too...they omiitted Christmas too.

I think the stores who are not adverse to saying Merry Christmas also should be noted, as stated by the Freeper on this board.

Unfortunately, I have none to add to the list...

I haven't shopped at Target since the FCUK cologne/perfume for kids was sold there. And yes, for those who may not have heard...that is EXACTLY how it was spelled. Unbelievable, isn't it?

Taking Christmas out of it's advertising, not allowing the Salvation Army to be around their stores.......just two more reasons why I won't shop there ever again.

Companies/Liberal Left entities, etc..... are unbelievably stupid in this country. Can't they see that we're TIRED of this and are finally going to do something about it and not just bend over anymore?

They also have Bible verses on their placemats and other items used in food service. All relate to food. It's a Christian company.

I think that it would be great if Christians demand that stores that refuse to acknowledge Christmas remove all Christmas related items and Christmas sales from their stores.

This is demeaning to the religion of Christianity to make money off of a religion and then disrespect the followers of that religion.

Imagine having a Ramadam sale, secularizing Ramadam songs to the songs of pop culture, and refusing to use the word Ramadam.

This is what is happening to Christians in a country where the Christian population is 76%.

And it's amazing that they are doing it, considering Christmas is when these stores make most of their yearly profit.

Yes, if you look under the In & Out cups you can see verses such as John 3:16 there too. They are a neat company.

They also seem to be conservative/libertarian -- they're co. stationery says "The Best Enterprise is a Free Enterprise."

One of the craziest P.C. things to me: at Disneyland their annual Christmas tree ornaments were changed a few years ago and no longer have the word "Christmas" on the reverse, they use "Holiday" instead. I ask you -- why would anyone who is *buying a Christmas tree ornament* be offended by the word Christmas? That is political correctness gone *way* overboard.

Agreed. I'm getting tired of all the stop signs on my way home. Should I post about it?

It's enough to drive one nuts. Let's see -Don't buy from Target because they won't let the Salvation Army Kettle Bell Ringers, Don't buy from Walmart because they import everything from China, Sears (not Sears!!) has taken the word Christmas out of Christmas, the Post Office put out Muslim stamps, and Swiss Miss is an American company but it doesn't have anything like Nestles Quik (which is foreign and a personal addiction for me).

I've already forgotten the gas stations I'm suppose to use.

This is getting really hard.

You forgot to mention all the movies and musical artists you're supposed to boycott because of the political views held by the performers.
