" his heavy use of psychedelics as a young man; alcohol abuse; "wild sex with improper strangers," which on a couple of occasions turned violent when Brudnoy picked up psychotics; three-month disability and near death caused by AIDS-related ailments in 1994 (in recounting his bout with shingles, he spares us no details of his "filthy bowel explosions".
Brudnoy was 54 years old when he suffered his first HIV attack, which finally caused him to reveal his condition. Although there was great local media frenzy, and he received 17,000 letters from his fans, Brudnoy expresses distaste at becoming an AIDS poster boy."
But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
You're the one who said sinners can't be heroes, not me...
I can tell from your comments that you are either 1) not at all a Christian, or 2) a babe in Christ, with as yet little understanding of biblical Christianity.
If it's #1, then you are in exacly the same boat as any unrepentant sinner, homos included. In Gods' eyes a sinner is a sinner, and they're all under judgement of death.
If it's #2, then you have much to learn. Study up, Bucko.
Do you consider yourself honest ?
Y'know, bad meat in the can.
I wonder if someone will dig up something negative about you when people are remembering the good things you did during your life. Unless of course you've led a perfect life and then it couldn't happen. I'd think they were trashing you and ask them to save it for another day.
This makes me so sad. David Brudniy has one of the most beautiful speaking voices. He was perhaps the talk radio personality I could identify by his voice. He was rational, intelligent. I could get lulled into a semi-hypnotic trance listening to his lilting voice, and still learn something.
What a class act...
Perhaps our prayers will change his mind about his atheism. God welcomes all who repent and believe.
This is sad.
Sorry if I am reading more into your screen name than meets the eye...
Only God will know his final thoughts.
His fellow broadcasters are doing a show on the radio about him right now. I heard someone refer to him as an agnostic, which is, I guess, not quite as bad as an atheist. Brudnoy was also said to be asking (in a joking manner) to one of his fellow WBZ broadcasters if he thought there were actually pitchforks in Hell, so he might be having a kind of change of heart.
You are quite right, only God will know his final thoughts. Therefore, we should pray for his conversion, and refrain from passing judgement on him as a person.
Yes, very.
Do you think you know what that means, or are you prepared to release Scott Peterson too ?
As with Yasser Arafat and Osama Bin Laden
