I asked because I was wondering if you knew him. I was at his funeral. My husband works with his mother. It was a beautiful service. His cousins said a prayer that was incredible. There were about 10 of them. They each went up to the lecturn and said a trait that Bobby had - like being a trickster. Then they said a little prayer for those with the gift of being able to make others laugh. I still wonder how they did it without breaking down. After the mass, different family members gave euologies. His cousin gave one about what it was like growing up with him that was touching.
What really did everyone in was at the very end his father said the lines that are on the first page of the website and saluted his son. Wow. It was just unbelievable that he could do that and not cry.
Bobby's family is incredible. They have a great attitude towards his service and are doing everything they can to take care of his girlfriend that the baby she is to have. I hope you forward this site on to others so they can post to it.
I didn't know him personally, but I know him like I know every other Marine that wears the Eagle, Globe and Anchor.
I hope that the family can take Bobby's government life insurance payout and set up a trust fund for that child.
You can be sure that Bobby's family will do what they need to do to take care of both mother and baby.
Just an update - they tested and know that Bobby's child will be a girl. The website has the ultrasound picture.
Local news interviews his mom today. Seems like this website is being forwarded all around the world.
