Is INTEL awake -- Friday terrorist pray, Saturday they blow up
Results of attacks last week -- Internet sources | Dec 8 2004 | Vanity

All was pretty quiet in Iraq for most of last week.

But Saturday, after Terrorists prayed in Mosques on Friday, was the day for Terrorists to start a series of car bombings.

There are lives that might be saved if INTELS outsmart me and the TERRORISTS at this point -- it seems there could be things done. Also, the military leadership in Iraq could be taking Counter-Measures for the weekend.

I hope our INTELS are awake. This also continued somewhat into Sunday -- a little as I remember. Or maybe the information was just able to get to the US by Sunday.

My point is that INTEL should have cameras on all suspected Mosque and have unmanned robots flying overhead -- perhaps visibly. This might deter car bomb attacks. Also, where possible, places BEFORE road blocks should be set up to BLOW OUT tires.

Why blow the tires? If the car contains explosives, it may JAR the car into exploding -- hopefully far enough away from people. It should show down the car. If the car does not slow down, as any normal driver would, it is probably a TERRORIST -- which means they are halted with DEADLY force.

At least that is my opinion.

The question is -- are our INTELS awake or asleep. Are our Generals/leaders awake or asleep. If there is a pattern, use it to save human lives -- for God's sake.

Making the Mosques very visible that they are under surveillance may help this weekend with car bombings and other attacks. But the TERRORISTS might throw change-ups this weekend -- but they still might attack.

Something to think and pray about.

Too many people died last weekend for me to not write something that might save lives this weekend.

I really don't want this to have much visibility, but I do want some INTELS to take note, and hope it might reach the higher chain of command in IRAQ.

It is a two-way street -- the folks that play peek-a-boo need some good INTEL, and the provisional government can start 24 hour shifts BEFORE the weekend to aid.

But if you put some of these robot planes flying around Mosques, it might spook some folks into doing some things that might tip their hand. Or some other visible form of Intelligence that does not put friendly humans in danger. If someone pulls out an RPG and blows away a predator, fine -- there should be another predator to fire a missile at the guy holding the RPG.

In other words, not one predator in the friendly skies but many.

While not impossible, it would take really good luck to hit a low flying predator with an unguided RPG. Most of the time they fly above the altitude that an RPG could even reach. Even hitting one with an MANPAD SAM, such as an SA-7, SA-18, or even a Stinger, would be difficult because they don't emit all that much of a heat signature. Although the more modern heat seekers would have some chance of bringing one down.

I wholeheartedly agree -- but it would be better for them to try, and make themselves a target.

Maybe something with more a signature could be used to temp the terrorists to attack. Especially just after prayers -- then it might be possible to track who went to the person to the Mosque, etc.

There has got to be ways to help them tip their hand.

This was done at Fallujah with diversion attacks with tanks that would feign an attack, and then withdraw

This caused the terrorists to expose themselves for a fake manuver -- saving lives.

That is my whole -- things that might save friendly lives and expose the enemy.
