Bush Administration Asked to End Decades Old US Foreign-Targeted Population Control Policy
Important press conference Thursday

WASHINGTON, December 8, 2004 (LifeSiteNews.com) - The rarely-spoken of foreign-targeted US population control policy will be given special public exposure tomorrow at a Human Life International (HLI) press conference.

HLI will address the three-decades-old population control policy that was drawn up based on a 1974 memorandum by Henry Kissinger, US Secretary of State during the administration of President Richard Nixon. Kissinger's National Security Study Memorandum 200 (NSSM 200) was a confidential document until declassified in the early 1990's and is still unknown to most Americans who would highly likely never have supported such a policy.

The plan called for collusion among the U.S. government, the United Nations and non-governmental organizations such as International Planned Parenthood Federation. According to NSSM 200: "Throughout the implementation of the [population control] process, we have to make sure to hide our tracks and disguise our programs as altruistic . . . hiding the fact that we want access to their natural resources."

HLI has called upon the Bush Administration to formally rescind the Kissinger population control policy and withdraw related funding from the United Nations.

NSSM 200, and the US population control policy which came from it, especially targeted thirteen countries for depopulation, countries which, if allowed to increase sufficiently in population, were seen to be able to challenge US economic superiority. Billions of US taxpayer dollars have since gone into funding population control in countries around the globe.

HLI explains in a release that NSSM 200 justified the radical population control methods it implemented by claiming it would: 1) prevent developing nations from becoming politically powerful; 2) protect U.S. investments in these countries; 3) maintain U.S. access to these countries' natural resources; 4) limit the number of young people in these countries, who are more likely to challenge existing social and political norms.

The press conference, to be held at the National Press Club in Washington DC at 9:30am, will feature leaders from several of the thirteen nations targeted by NSSM 200. These leaders will personally discuss the repercussions their countries have experienced as a result of the secret population control agenda contained in the memo.

"Recent articles in Newsweek and Parade magazines demonstrate that the 'need' for population control is nothing more than an over-hyped myth. The time has come for U.S. government policy to formally acknowledge this same basic truth," said Rev. Thomas J. Euteneuer, president of HLI. "For the past 30 years, billions of U.S. taxpayer dollars have gone to fund population control programs- this, too, must come to an end."

It isn't so much a Republican/Democrat policy - it's a ruling elite policy for the rest of us unwashed. THAT'S the fact.

The "differences" remaines theater so we all take our eyes off the ball time and again.

Friends,

This thread is boring in many ways, yet so very critical to more fully appreciate the magnitude of the escalating war on the sanctity of life.

The sickening fact is that abortion is an ACTIVE part of US Government policy -- OUR GOVERNMENT.

This last election could be a good lesson of what might happen when enough people are awakened to the issues that the “values voters” care about. But STILL not nearly enough people are engaged to defend and vote for REAL CHANGE to defend the sanctity of LIFE. Pamphleteering during election time IS NOT SUFFICENT.

THE ONLY WAY to turn this around is with comprehensive sanctity of life education for all people, beginning when they are very young. Age appropriate material for kindergarten age and up, will be necessary.

But we cannot wait for Christian schools to begin this. It is the FIRST obligation of Parents to teach their children the Faith and in this age sanctity of life must be a MAJOR part.

Please read THE MISSING KEY OF THE PRO-LIFE MOVEMENT and the Education Page and start with your family right away.

You are right about education. It's the answer. How sad it will take a generation to have the effect we need.

I was under the impression NSSM 200 was revoked under the Reagan administration. The raving population controller here, from what I can recall, thinks it was.

Guys, I have NEVER trusted Kissinger. This is EXACTLY the kind of thing I figured him for. And the abandonment of POWs in Vietnam. Power uber EVERYTHING! Peace and love, George.

But we cannot wait for Christian schools to begin this. It is the FIRST obligation of Parents to teach their children the Faith and in this age sanctity of life must be a MAJOR part.

This is very true. Parents have a great responsibility to teach and train their children in many aspects of life and social issues. We can't and should not expect the church to be responsible for it, the church ought to merely be reinforcing what we have taught them at home the 6 days of the week when they are not in church. If the children are not homeschooled then it is vital to talk with the kids about what they are hearing. It is likely that parents may need to unindoctrinate their children on things they've heard or been taught at their school.

A few years ago my stepson lived with us and I asked him if there were any books they used at school that they were 'not' allowed to bring home. Yes there were. When I contacted the school about having him bring the book home so I could look it over, well they didn't want that to happen. I had to pitch a big fit in order to see the book. I don't really remember what the content was but the point is that kids may not know 'what' they should tell their parents and that's why it's important for us to initiate the conversations with them and ask them questions.

Agenda 21 is a comprehensive plan of action to be taken globally, nationally and locally by organizations of the United Nations System, Governments, and Major Groups in every area in which human impacts on the environment.

Agenda 21, the Rio Declaration on Environment and Development, and the Statement of principles for the Sustainable Management of Forests were adopted by more than 178 Governments at the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED) held in Rio de Janerio, Brazil, 3 to 14 June 1992.

The Commission on Sustainable Development (CSD) was created in December 1992 to ensure effective follow-up of UNCED, to monitor and report on implementation of the agreements at the local, national, regional and international levels. It was agreed that a five year review of Earth Summit progress would be made in 1997 by the United Nations General Assembly meeting in special session.

The full implementation of Agenda 21, the Programme for Further Implementation of Agenda 21 and the Commitments to the Rio principles, were strongly reaffirmed at the World Summit on Sustainable Development (WSSD) held in Johannesburg, South Africa from 26 August to 4 September 2002.

You have to have an access password now. That map angered to many voters in the "depopulation" zones who realized just what had to happen for the "sustainable vision" to be realized.

We decided we don't want to drink the Kool Aid anymore.

Hate to agree with you SJT.

The fascinating thing (in a macabre sort of way) is that the western countries have a plummeting population, and will crash unless they have massive immigration or start having kids.

Western society has decided to do what no outside force could. Kill themselves off.

As always, you guys already beat me to the keen observations -- thanks. The press confrence yesterday was dynomite, from a dynomite primere no-exceptions organization, HLI. Indeed, we need the pro-life movement needs to call for the defunding of all population control efforts. Good luck, however, in getting the Bush family to do it. Never before has PP been better funded than under George the Lesser. His granda, (who was on the board of PP) would be proud. Perhaps if the other "pro-life" outfits in the nation were to jump onboard instead of continuting to milk the PBA dog and poney show, perhaps we could get somewhere.

YOU WERE THERE?!! WE NEED MUCH MORE DETAILS! Please.

Prescott Bush, (father of Bush 41) was on the board of PP?
I didn't know that. Can you provide linkage?

Do y'all know of a transcript and or will it be on CSPAN?

The publisher of that woman who wrote the recent Bush bio has an image of his name on the PP stationery at their site. I'll see if I can link it.

I've saved the pdf at home.

The fellow who outed him (and cost him the '56 election) was roundly criticized as some kind of conspiracy theorists who probably "hated" Prescott. But he was vindicated when a copy of one of Sanger's letters sporting Bush's name as fundraiser was produced.
