Local school officials in a suburb of Houston, Texas, are investigating how it was possible that a school police officer handed out calendars to students that featured explicit details on satanic and sexual rituals for every day of the month.
Parents in Pearland are demanding answers, according to a news report on KHOU-TV.
The school police officer who handed out the calendars was supposed to deliver a positive anti-gang message to the students last Monday, according to the report.
"September 20th is a 'midnight host' whatever that is," said one unidentified parent reading from the calendar. "You should have a blood-type ritual. September 23rd is the fall equinox you should have an orgy. Activity group sex, any age, any sex."
The father did not want to be identified because he feared his daughter would be punished.
"They shouldn't be teaching the kids, at 12 years of age, a calendar of satanism. It's just not right," he said.
Pearland school officials say some 25 students at the junior high received the calendars.
"It clearly was a mistake," said Renea Ivy, Pearland ISD spokesperson. "We don't want it to happen again and so it was not done with malice, it was not done to promote satanism in any way on the campus. It was just a mistake."
The officer said he got the packets from a anti-gang training course he took. Officials say he neglected to take out the adult material. The police officer remains on duty pending the outcome of an internal investigation.
I am sure the ACLU will take care of this...
Uh, why?
Wait! Don't tell me....it's in his union contract.
Could you imagine if he passed out a calender with the Holy Days of Obligation in it? The ACLU may just explode.
LOL thats hilarious....but of course I am shocked and outraged. That police officer's career is probably going to be over. I remember back when I was 12 I would have killed to get something like that handed out at school (all we got were safety procures that ended up as litter in the parking lot).
Government employed pedophiles are innocent until proven guilty and therefore cannot be suspended until guilty is proven beyond a shadow of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals doubt.
wheew!
for a minute there they could have been in real trouble for
having "Christmas" on the calendar!
Wuhut?
Ummm....NAMBLA?
In gang training, it is given out so that you are aware of what the satanic cults activities are. They make you aware of when sacrifices and other rituals occur. With this tool, there is hope of catching them or stopping a baby or animal from being sacrificed. They usually lump the satanic cult training into the gang training.
This is too crazy to make up...
Like I mentioned in the earlier posting of this article, this is what I think happened...
1) The anti-gang class was likely given by a religious group, or taught by someone with that sort of obsessive focus on the dangers of "Satanism."
2) The "Satanic calendar" was created by someone who is NOT a Satanist, as a ham-handed example of their idea of "Satanism," in order shock people.
3) The calendar was in fact left in the stuff the officer was handing out, as the officer said.
I strongly suspect none of this was actually related to actual Satanists attempting to promote Satanism.
I used to live in this town. It's very conservative. It's in Tom Delay's congressional district. Most of the adminstrators in the school (maybe not the very top, but majority of them) when I lived there six years ago tended to belong to the Southern Baptist Church or the Church of Christ. You know how happy these people will be, eh?
It will interesting to see how this turns out.
Yep, that's pretty much what I'm thinking. Unfortunately, not like anyone at WingNutDaily would realize this, and most people reading the story will simply read the headline, or not think carefully about the content of the story.
Read the article, and read my replies and that of Jersey Republican Biker Chick, CAREFULLY.
THIS HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH PROMOTING SATANISM.
It was a result of the "Satanism Scare" industry.
There's basically a cottage-industry of self-described "Satanism experts" going around the country telling local law enforcement in classes, seminars, there are Satanic Cults under every rock and tree. They seem to get the most traction in fundivangelist areas.
In one town in Texas one of these guys was unfortunately the local prosecutor and he ended up arresting half the town (including police officers, etc.) in connection with a missing girl on the idea that they were all part of a Satanic death and cannibalism cult, until he was finally stopped.
Why not lump pedophiles in with petty thieves. They have nothing to do with each other. If this is true, no wonder the gang problem isn't going anywhere.
