As Sunday's guest on "Meet the Press," former Democratic presidential candidate Howard Dean shot some pointed remarks at Republicans.
Dean said, "These people, who are running this country, are running it in a short-term way. Racking up enormous deficits, enormous future national security problems for us. We can't afford Republicans, we have got to get rid of them as soon as possible, because they can't run the country properly."
One of the candidates for the Democratic presidential nomination in the 2004 race, Dean is now thinking about running for chairman of the Democratic National Committee.
Deficits have been a necessary evil...the last
President or the next President will inherit the
deficit and they will add to it....You can thank
the Congress and the greed of the American public
and the lack of a backbone in both...plus the
President who doesn't know how to use a veto pen..Jake
All 65,000,000 of us?
I think we ought to take a vote on that.
What is he suggesting? That if the Demorats ever regain power they will banish the Republican Party? Set up extermination camps and firing squads? Is he going to banish free elections?? shouldn't this kind of talk be called a hate crime?
Do it! And don't come running back when the EU goes belly up and complain to us.
