Sorry, I don't buy it. Nobody could predict who was going to run in 2000 back in 1996. Nobody could predict that Kerry was going to run in 2004 after Gore's defeat in 2000. You're just whistling in the dark and hoping others will start humming the same tune. Don't expect me to join you in the Left-wing RINO chorus.

Just to show how ridiculous this speculation is, I've posted on previous threads that the GOP contenders who led in the polls after Election'96 were Elizabeth Dole, Jack Kemp, Dan Quayle and Colin Powell. Out of these four, 2 withdrew in the early stages of the campaign and 2 stayed out altogether.

I wish that we could stop talking about Colin Powell. How many times does that man have to say that he is not interested in running for President?
