"Desert Sky." Can't wait to see it. He had some interesting observations, especially as he served all over that country.
Dang. It just never came home to me that we're a nation at war until I saw his fruit salad. When I was in during the eighties the idea of a junior officer with four rows of ribbons would be hallucinogenic.
How many new campaign ribbons have been created since the beginning of the nineties? Where do I go to find out?
Cant wait, looks good.
i went to afghanistan and came back with 4 new ones. if you get some valor awards, which are a lot more common in iraq, you could get more, ditto with regard to pres. unit citations.
since the early 90s i dont think theyve come up with a lot of new ribbons/medals. there might be one for bosnia but i dont think so. the global war on terrorism medal/service ribbon are the only two new ones that i know of. but hell, as u might recall its not really something thats worth your time thinking about.
Thank You for your service to our country.
I found this link to the order of precedence. There is also a link for the current Army uniform regs, but that was a big honkin' :) pdf file.
Hope this helps.
