Michael Jackson has 220 kids over for a Party
MSNBC ^

Posted on 12/19/2004 3:42:09 PM PST by MizzouTigerRepublican

LOS OLIVOS, Calif., Dec. 17 — Christmas came early for some 200 children who got to play at Michael Jackson's amusement park and meet Santa Claus. ''I hope you have a wonderful day. Merry Christmas. I love you,'' the pop singer called out to the children Friday from the driveway of his estate. Jackson, who faces trial next year on child molestation charges, appeared happy during the few minutes he spoke to the arriving throng.

The parents of these children are, IMO, unfit parents.

Bad Parenting is to blame.

Anyone who would let their kid spend 20 minutes with Jackson is a bad parent.

If he is exonerated - I'll apologize - but for now, keep your kids away from him!

Sending you kid to a party at Jackson's place is akin to placing your young daughter as an intern in the Clinton White House. The results are the same...someone is gonna get %$#^ed.

What kind of greedy, amoral parent would send their child to a party at MJ's house?

Oh, I guess I answered my own question.

BARF.

Actually, those kids were all from the projects etc, like Compton, and this was like a day at the carnival for them. I don't begrudge those kids having some fun, or blame the parents for taking advantage of a free party (with lots of people and press so the were relatively safe).
Jackson, however, is a sick pervert who said "I love you more" when some kids called out to him "we love you" or some such.

Geraldo reported on it like it was just peachy. In fact, he got a cheap shot in about the LAPD doing another search of Neverland. Can't remember his exact words, but he was definitely showing his bias towards Jackson the pedophile. Sickening.

i think people should save their judgements until after the trial...you know, the whole "innocent until proven guilty" thing...

im not saying he's innocent, but im definitely not saying he's guilty...i think i CAN say that many of the people accusing him probably do it just to have their faces posted in the media.

so if someone can prove to me why he's so GUILTY as people around here have already made him out to be, then i'll happily take back my comments.

REASONABLE doubt means just that. There is none in this case. Let's see, this adult man is accused by many young male children, he admits they sleep in his bedroom, and on and on and on. He is guilty as sin, and I mean that literally. If he were some Joe Schmoe, he'd already be in prison.

I gave up on the 'Ghost of Christmases Past' when he forked over $25 million to shut that boy up.

Look, the 'Thrilla' admits to sleeping with these kids. What 45 year old men do you wish to allow to sleep with your little boys or girls?

Parents who continue to expose their children to this clown are unfit.

You do understand that "innocent until proven guilty" applies to jurors, NOT public opinion, yours or mine. That is nothing more than a cop-out, intended to make you unable to form your own opinions, or judgements. You know, you DO have the right and responsibility to make judgements every day, in all situations. Please do not give me that "innocent until proven guilty" clap-trap again.

The point is this: No responsible parent would allow their child to be around a man suspected of sexual abuse of children. I wouldn't let my children within 100 feet of this sick bastard. I don't gamble with my children's well being or safety. Those that do in order to allow their children to spend time with a celebrity should have their kids removed. Period!!!!!!!!!

very true, you make a good point.

still (just to continue playing devil's advocate), i could also argue that hundreds, if not thousands, of children would argue otherwise - that he never abused them or took advantage of them...in fact, he did just the opposite, donating to charity, volunteering his time, and on and on and on...and again, we've seen no evidence yet.

personally, i think jackson DOES have mental issues...deprived of a childhood, probably still thinks having kids over = innocent slumber parties.

haha, or not - i admit, i can easily have a change of opinion based on the evidence.

as for the joe schmoe remark, i'll actually agree with you 100% on that one.

However, are you willing to risk your child's well being???

I say, keep him away from kids until he's either dead or proven not guilty!

haha, i agree with you on that.

what a lot of people don't understand, though, is that he was only at this "party" of his for a minute or two...in fact, these parents didn't KNOW he would be there...they simply thought they were being given an invitation to take their children to what's pretty much a carnival.

i don't see anything wrong with the parents for allowing their kids to have a good time while being supervised.
