Liberals actually seem to HOPE the embryonic stem cells will eventually prove more important than adult stem cells; it seems important to them - almost more important than finding cures for disease - to "stick it" to the anti-embryonic stem cell crowd.

What is it about leftists that they seem to love to destroy unborn human beings?

Killing babies (while sparing murderers and despots) is the glue that holds the liberals together. ESCs are an extension of this core dedication to giving government life or death power over us.

They worship strange Gods. Who demand sacrifice.

I just researched this issue extensively for a persuasive essay I had to write for my college english class. Thesis: We don't need to destroy human life in order to save it. ASC are curing diseases TODAY and have been since the late 60's when we started curing blood disorders with bone marrow transplants. ASC are proving just as adaptable as scientists expect ESC will be. No cures using ESC are available today or in the foreseeable future.

PS: I got an 'A' on the paper.

Another case of ideology determining the results of scientific research. ASCs are the way to go, but this is not in keeping with leftwing ideology, so they will shove it down everyones throat.

Thank God for the internet, talk radio and FOX news.

The teacher even agreed with the premise that just because we can do something doesn't mean we should. There are new examples every day of advances being made with ASC. There is nothing but 'promise' and 'potential' with ESC. One thing is certain, though. Those embryos are dead once the scientists are done with them. It's sickening, really. We are not entitled to kill people in order to find cures for our diseases.
