Crossing state lines in order to commit a felony makes it Federal, assuming they want to take it up.
That's great. The empowerment of the individual is perhaps the greatest achievement of the internet. And that is working out in so many ways."
"...empowerment of the individual..." Amen (so be it)...
The Kansas Supreme Court very recently declared Kansas's death penalty to be unconstitutional.
You are so right. The day the weird post(referenced in an earlier post) to me happened, I was planning to go to a Kerry rally. I did not go because my husband could not go with me. It made me think a lot about how easy it would be to go through someone's posting history and find out all kinds of things about them.
Life w/o parole is the best this woman can plead down to.
MO juries have no problem handing down the death penalty and the prosecutor can't be seen as settling for a lesser plea just to rack up a conviction
Hi,
Here is a post I made on the Ratter Chatter board concerning this thread (And article). I've been lurking here for a number of years, but still can't figure-out how to post links that work...I wish it wasn't so hard...But here it is...

What a sick bitch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"Oh, they're here, I've got to go."
Now I'm not sure if that's concludes that there was an accomplice, but I normally don't say "they" unless I'm talking about more then one person.
Thanks!
There is plenty evidence that this was premeditated. It is being prosecuted federally. You can bet there WON'T be a plea down to manslaughter. She is being charged with kidnapping and causing a murder associated w/it. There was also the crossing state lines thing.
BTW, it is extremely difficult to get a NGRI (not guilty by reason of insanity) plea. Remember Andrea Yates? If ever anyone was mentally ill......and she is doing life w/out parole, not sitting in a psych hospital w/a NGRI plea.
I don't disagree w/you about the safety factor. However, these 2 women knew eachother through their group and through dog shows for OVER ONE YEAR. Bobbie knew Lisa, Bobbie did NOT know Darlene. Lisa 'baited' her....once Lisa showed at her home Bobbie didn't hesitate to open the door to her....but makes you wonder why she didn't question why Lisa was there when she clearly expected Darlene. Sadly, there are only 2 people that know what exactly transpired that day, and one is dead.
Clearly people should be cautious, not just w/online dealings but w/anyone that is let into your home. Once a person is in your home..................
Terribl, just terrible!
There are too many nuts out there in cyberspace.
Be careful, everyone.
