O'Neil and the swifties rate right up there with the greatest patriots of our country, in my opinion. I truly admire and respect these great men. They are the William Wallace bravehearts of our day.
A well deserved award....
Yes, I am afraid I am one of those..... so little time.
But anyone that had a hand in helping John O'Neill and the SwiftVets is owned considerable gratitude....THANKS!!!
John O'Neil for Attorney General......
Thanks, I.T. Good news!
You should have been first runner-up, Scott, for the amazing amount of work you did......including your Winter Soldier website which coordinated vets and information all over the country in the effort to expose the pathetic Lurch.
When there's a major job to be done, look for a knowledgeable freeper to fill it, and do the job well.

God bless John O'Neill and all the Swift Boat Vets!
John O'Neill exemplifies character, integrity and honor and I'm proud he's on our side! If you're reading sir, please accept my humble gratitude, and the best wishes from a grateful nation.
It is so refreshing to see truth win out once in a while.
I will never forget The Swift Boat Vets. I swore that I would renounce my citizenship and leave the country should a traitor become Commander in Chief.
God Bless the Swift Boat Vets.
"In the end, no amount of liberal propaganda could negate the plain facts assembled by O'Neill. All the slights, tantrums and tirades of the liberal media couldn't besmirch O'Neill's integrity. His efforts helped turn the tide of the presidential election.
For O'Neill, just as important was defending the honor of his fellow veterans. "For more than 30 years, most Vietnam veterans kept silent as we were maligned as misfits, drug addicts, and baby killers. Now that a key creator of that poisonous image is seeking the presidency we have resolved to end our silence," wrote the Swift Boat Vets on their website. The veterans finally won.
John O'Neill's life, in its quiet dignity, is far more representative of Vietnam veterans than Kerry's riches-to-power story. It is O'Neill--not Kerry and the anti-Vietnam War protesters--who speaks for the lives of the hundreds of thousands of veterans who came home from Vietnam, having served their country honorably.
Honorable and Just."

"Thanks Scott...and to think you were able to work with O'Neill, Corsi and the rest of the Swiftvets for all those months.
It is a damnable shame that most Freepers have no idea of your contribution to the Swiftvets."

I'm envious that I don't know any of them personally. Some Freepers know what's up behind scenes.
All I can say, is God love them all!! Maybe most Freepers don't understand the connection that Interesting Times has in all of this, but he sure got the word out around here! And other Freepers read around more and know he contributed MAJORLY. (sp?)

I wrote that one...
" I wrote that one..."

Some of know you did.
Big old smooch to all of you!!
I wholeheartedly agree with this award.
John O'Neill stood calm under liberal fire again and again. They could not counter his points. The contrast between his dignity and their lack of it spoke to many people.
The Swifties have done more to clear the reputation of Vietnam vets than anyone in the last 35 years.
IT, you helped keep us on an even keel, especially as the end game was being played out...
Please keep us informed as to the Swifties and your own site's progress towards enhancing our knowledge of all VN vets issues faced today...
God Bless us All, and have a Merry Christmas.
Heh!
Bears repeating. GW should have withdrawn his Time 'person' of the year with a vote for John O'Neill. O'Neill and his band of Swiftees turned this election. Absent the Swift boat factor, Kerry would have been taking the oath in January. President Bush owes the Swiftees big-time.
Thanks for the ping!
