religion of peace, HUH?
Julia Roberts is a Arab? Who'd have thought?
Personally, I find the beliefs of many to be revolting, but there are indeed many Arab women (and other nationalities) who are strikingly beautiful.
Probably because mustaches look better on men than women.
Dear God, let us get serious about hunting those that want to kill us!
Please!
My Christmas prayer.
Have you ever read the book or seen the movie "Not Without My Daughter"?
After seeing that (waaay before 9/11) I wouldn't give an Arab the time of day. But, then again, I wouldn't latch onto any guy from another country. Kids are kidnapped to Anglo countries too.
I think most people missed the point. Sleeper cell in Anaheim? 2 hours from the open border?
You do know who that woman is don't you?
Actually I don't. It sort of looks like Julia Roberts, but not quite. Who is it?
FBI is a government agency.
They are as effective as any government agency.
That is the problem.
Why work harder than anybody else for the same incentive plan? They get full benefits without threats of firing no matter how little or how much they do.
Most choose to do little, without repercussions.
She is a very interesting person and does a lot of good. She's also a bit of a capitalist and is making some real reforms in Jordan. She's a college educated, former advertising executive.
It's not everyday in the Middle East that a Queen throws on a pair of jeans, gets in her car and drives out to the poorer sections of her country just to visit.
If you ever get a chance, read about her.
To any of you who have young girls, rent this movie anad watch it with them when they are about 12. It makes a lasting impression, as GOP_Proud says. I will be forever grateful that this movie was made. It is a true story.
My daughter was totally immune to the "charms" of Arab men in college. She also warned others about how they could wind up in a nightmare marriage.
A couple of other things about her. The King considers her his equal, they have a very loving marriage and three kids.
They act like a real family, not some royals with nannies and stuff like that.
The only reason I mention all of this is that if King Abdullah and Queen Rania could get more active in the region, they could serve as a very good example for some of the other countries.
I'm just a Texas mom but if I were President Bush, I would be actively encouraging them to help.
