NEW YORK, Dec. 23, 2004 — A California woman reveals to ABC News that she unknowingly married a Muslim extremist who helped set up what authorities say was one of the first al Qaeda sleeper cells out of their Orange County apartment complex.
Saraah Olson says she watched as her then-husband, Hisham Diab, and his group transformed local teen Adam Gadahn into an America-hating fanatic who she says is the masked man who promised in an al Qaeda video message released in Pakistan late October that the "streets of America will run red with blood."
Olson said she repeatedly tried to notify the FBI of her husband's suspicious activities, but that she was never taken seriously. "I'm in hell," Olson remembers thinking after she recognized Abdel-Rahman in connection with the 1993 World Trade Center bombings. "I have entered the bowels of hell and I'm going to be here forever. And I've only been married seven months. I've got a terrorist in my house."
The FBI said in a statement that counterterrorism is their top priority. "Whenever we receive credible information pertaining to terrorist threats against the United States, the FBI acts immediately to thoroughly pursue all such leads," the statement read.

Did this woman wake up and find herself married, after falling asleep at a poker table in Vegas? I find it hard to believe that her husband married her without making sure of her loyalty, or that she married this guy without really knowing him.
The FBI, like too many other government agencies seems to be selectively compentent.
Her first husband was Dennis Rodman.
1. She's from California
2. She married a Muslim.
3. 'Nuff said.
What about the Muslim terrorist who became engaged to the young Irish woman who was stopped by airport screening because she had a bomb in her bag? Turned out that the Muslim extremist hid the bomb in a secret bottom compartment of his fiancee's luggage, then sent her off to board an airliner alone. Nice, huh?
Single mom working in a college visa office and he needed new papers.
What a fool. She (and her son) paid for it in beatings.
Of course, if one were under investigation for aiding and abetting, one might make claims similar to those in the article, regardless of the truth of the claims.
From what I understand from women I know that married Mulsim men, they act one way (western, logical, reasonable) before marriage, and then start transitioning to more traditional (read: scummy) Islamic ways quickly afterwards. Those that were able to get out before children were born consider divorce a blessing.
Adam Gadahn = The English speaking masked raghead videotaped, calling himself "Azzam The American".
I still cannot comprehend how any Western woman would be so stupid, but I'm not a woman and I guess I must think about implications and consequences more than most people.
The deceiving of infidels in furtherance of jihad is permissible according to the koran.
Well.... duh! That happens if you marry a Mohammedan. How come some people don't do background checks on their spouses-to-be?
From reports that I've read, she's Catholic, and her husband is purportedly Jewish.
I've met many an American woman who swoons at the thought of a dark handsome Arab.
I don't get it...as I don't personally find Arab women attractive at all.
He tricked her to get a visa, then beat her. She was 22.
Lots of broads set the bar quite low. They just want someone who they believe cares about them. And they're easily fooled.
If it's not a muslim, it's some con man hustling them for their bank account.
Beats me why they would want an Arab.
And yet there was an article on FR last week that some freepers thought was simply the best of its type, that there are NO sleeper cells in America. A bunch of us tried to persuade those misguided souls that there were definitely sleeper cells in America.
