SHE'S MY SISTER! *SLAP* AND MY DAUGHTER! *SLAP* SHE'S MY SISTER! *SLAP* AND MY DAUGHTER! *SLAP* SHE'S MY SISTER! *SLAP* AND MY DAUGHTER! *SLAP* SHE'S MY SISTER! *SLAP* AND MY DAUGHTER! *SLAP* SHE'S MY SISTER! *SLAP* AND MY DAUGHTER! *SLAP*

Very, very disturbing. I did a presentation about it for film class, it was kind of a cynically twisted version of film noir...took all the conventions of the genre and turned them sideways.

Actually, the $700,000 was the down payment. The total bill is likely to be more like $1,500,000. If Reed certifies this fraudulent new total in Gregoires favor, you and I get to pay that bill.

Has Sam Reed just resigned himself to the fact that GreGORE was going to steal the election, and he's been jockeying for favored status in the Gregoire administration ever since?

This is insane...Massachusetts sends Kerry and Kennedy to the Senate, but hasn't elected a democrat governor since M. Stanely Dukakis in, oh, 1987. In 2002 taxandspend Dem Shannon O'Brien was supposed to be in a dead heat with Mitt Romney, it was going to take days of recounts...she conceded at 9PM on election night down 55%-45%.

Romney's election all but saved the Republican party in Massachusetts. Would but Rossi could do the same thing.

Nothing in other counties will make a difference, because they won't cheat like King County did. The only way to prevent the election being stolen is to prove that King County cheated, emphasizing the two issues

1) No chain of custody for many "found" ballots
2) "Enhanced" ballots and "interpreted" ballots were enhanced and interpreted in a partisan way by King County elections board.

It makes no sense for a partisan election board to decide how to interpret an ambiguous ballot by majority vote. There should be ONE Dem and ONE GOP together -- if they disagree, it goes to a judge.

Why so high, if it's 25 cents per ballot cast, per state law?

With the election so close...so many problems in this election...I can't see how the state can avoid a new election. Since we already the games that King county plays...I'd say a new election puts them at heavy risk of being discovered. They won't stall or play the counting game if the media is standing there and asking what the real story is.

My understanding is that the 25 cents per ballot is the minimum fee, the law also says the person asking for the recount pays the actual costs when they are tallied up. It's moot now, she succeeded in stealing the election in the recount, so now there probably never will be a complete tally done - they (the Dems in charge and their allies in the media) don't want the negative PR of telling the voters what Gregoire and the Dems forced them to pay. It will all be quietly buried unless the Republicans & Rossi force it to light.
