The Threat Matrix

The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

WASHINGTON - A terrorist attack on a tanker loaded with liquefied natural gas could cause massive damage a third of a mile away and could send a vapor cloud billowing more than 1.5 miles, government scientists say.

With the the nation clamoring for more natural gas, policy-makers are trying to figure out how to safely import large quantities of liquefied natural gas or LNG.

This is starting to get scary. I talked to some friends at the Atlanta airport and they all say it may be terrorism.

One person (in the ranks) who gets a good laugh every time I mention terrorist, told me this is what they thought. This person who I have know a long time is working more than they ever have, this is strange for them. I really think something is going on at the airlines all the time and we don't know.

Two killed when small plane crashes at Lakeland airport (FL - 1/14/05)

LAKELAND, Fla. - A small plane crashed and caught fire, killing the two occupants, while trying to take off at Lakeland Linder Regional Airport on Friday.

Message from the Mujahideen to the Japanese troops "Leave, this is your last warning!"

Today official statements were distributed in the cities of Ramadi, Baghdad, and Samawa - where the Japanese troops (noncombatants LOL) are based.

The official statement demands that the Japanese troops leave Iraq! This official statement comes after several warnings. The Japanese troops have asked tribal chiefs in the region of Samawa to support and protect them, but without success.

"The Army of Islam, The Army of the Mujahideen, the Army of Truth, and the Army of the Islamic Resistance have sworn by Allah that if the Japanese troops don't leave Iraq they will live the darkest days of their history!"

"We have actually prepared enough missiles and other nonconventional warheads to be used against the American troops at Habaniya and Balad and we will not hesitate to fire them against your positions if you don't accept your last chance."

"We will transform your nights into days, lit by the flames of our missiles, and your days will be darkened if you refuse to leave."

The Japanese troops are asking the tribal chiefs to negotiate with the Mujahideen so they won't attack and in exchange they would help the people to build Samawa.
