After much thought, I would have to agree with Teri on this one. I truly thought about reporting it, and I possibly would if I had been smart enough to actually get the plate number from the handmade tag, or the number of the real tag on the front trailer, or even the FedEx unit number. I wish I had. Next time I will.
As Teri pointed out, the larger issue may be that of missing/stolen license plates. A missing plate attracts attention (it got mine), but a stolen truck could be tagged with a plate stolen from another truck, which could make it look more "ordinary", and would therefore be far less noticeable. I will be watching for more reports of lost/stolen tags.

Avenue in Boonton, NJ on 12/10/03 during the early
hours of the morning. It is a unique looking truck. If

7. Four semi truck cabs were stolen from Temple-Inland on
Friday, Dec. 17.

information resulting in the return of four stolen

I don't have any information as to whether any of the above trucks have been recovered so if anyone is aware of additional stolen trucks/tankers/ambulances/etc., and is aware of the license plate numbers, feel free to add to the list and if anyone is aware as to whether any of the vehicles have been recovered, feel free to remove the vehicles from the list.
