SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Outgoing Senate Minority Leader Tom Daschle said the political role he played during the past quarter century was more defensive than offensive, and that kept him from pursuing the proactive agenda he envisioned when he first entered politics.

"Daschle said President Bush in his second term has a "golden opportunity" to change the increasingly partisan tone of Washington."

Get a grip Dasshole, your party is out of power, it's your turn to come to the right and stop this partisan hate speech!

IMHO they are all POS's to include Frist, and all the other congress critters, they look out for themselves and give the perception that they are looking out for us.

Just an Observation.

"Loyal opposition"? Loyal to what? Not, so far as may be determined, the United States.

Tom Daschle stayed in the Senate because he could take pork home to South Dakota, and he maintained an intensive database of South Dakota voters, communicating with them often. This database was the source of Daschle's continuing popularity in a state that one would normally expect to be Republican in outlook.

Sean Hannity has all the depth of an Earl Sheib paint job. He is an empty suit leading empty heads, an irritating, smirking little tit of a man, whose career is built on belittling those few dolts he can find who are more ignorant than himself. He is living proof that mindlessly parroting a few talking points ad nauseum passes for political discourse in today's media. He couldn't ad-lib a fart after a baked-bean dinner.

Other than that, of course, he's fine.

What the People of SD FINALLY did was to connect the Washington DC Daschle to the SD Daschle and they discovered that it was the same person.

Isn't that the job of this "Two-Party Cartel"? As for Frist - just go back to your previous occupation & leave the work of running the commies out of government to the people that are up to that job. And thank you, GW, for making him your inept man in the Senate, thanks to keeeping the idiot Minnet in your cabinet, thanks to giving Teddy Kennedy 11EXTRA Billion of our dollars to squander in the defunct public schools & finally thanks to allowing more illegals into our country.

Daschle says political role was more defensive than offensive

This is quite possibly true. Being that Daschle, as a man, is only 3 feet tall, he fought a constant defensive battle to avoid being stepped on by the likes of "patent leather steel-toe shoed" Republicans.

We finally squashed him November 3rd.

I found every rigamarole, that Daschelle employed, to be offensive, as well as his whinny little voice and his sly face and beady eyes.

Sean Hannity

I have to admit I'm less of a fan of Hannity than at one time - the guy just never SHUTS UP! Don't have on guests if you won't let them talk, Hannity. But he's okay. I don't mind listening to Hannity.

He's no debater though. He's not known for having command of the facts. Coulter, now, she can debate. I wonder what you think of HER?
