I don't know about your sexual orientation, but your stupidity is obvious. And your sense of humor is critically impaired.
Lighten up.

Looks like ALL of my computers were swithched to firefox just in time. Of course, at the rate things attack IE, any time is just in time.

The Symantec alert doesn't mention Firefox or Mozilla.
I haven't had an Adaware or PestPatrol alert, sinec I switched to Firefox. I was getting loads with IE 6.
That says enough for me.

Touchy, aren't we. Calling someone stupid because of that remark is over the top. I'd hate to know what you'd call me if you read some of my previous posts.
Give the guy a break.

Nope-cheaper! Check out all the FREE programs included with the Macs and they're a way better deal for the price.

The Department of Homeland Security recommends not using Internet Explorer.
Despite them saying that, I still won't run IE. ;-)

I don't know about your sexual orientation, but your stupidity is obvious. Well, it is an issue of stupidity. I'm too stupid to figure out how to fully function in a PC world with a Mac. I know you all say it can be done, but the last time I messed with one (5 years ago) it could be done then, too, but it was a pain in the rear. I'm also too dumb to figure out how to have an extra $1,500 on hand to spend on a computer. So I am fully willing to admit that perhaps if I was a computer dork like yourself that a Mac might be better, the thing, I have better things to do with my time and money. And don't ya'll give me the load about how Mac's are so reliable, etc. My wife's Macs were no more reliable than any PC I ever had. And yeah, there are no viruses for Mac's, but then again I have never gotten a virus on my PC either.

The other day, one of my computers got hit by a virus that affected the BIOS of the motherboard,Man I haven't heard of that virus for several years now, it used to be prevalent, but has no usefull life span (since it kills most of its victoms), an so has fallen into obscurity. Did you ever learn the name of this virus?

For the umpteenth million time: will everybody please just stop using Internet Explorer? Gheesh!
There are a ton of browsers out there. ALL are better than IE and most of them leave IE in the dust.

Which, along with all O'Reilly books AFAIK, are legitmately sold at steep discounts at
bookpool.com.

How does one go about obtaining viruses?
I'd hope Freepers would be smart enough to not open emails a la "Win a million dollars! Just click on this attachment to see how!"
