Civil Disobedience Begins
Arutz 7 ^ | 20:11 Dec 28, '04 | staff

Posted on 12/30/2004 3:20:08 PM PST by Nachum

The "civil disobedience" campaign against the transfer/expulsion plan has begun. Shomron residents waged a sit-in on a road near Shavei Shomron, blocking a Disengagement Authority bus on its way.

Three residents of Shomron communities were arrested this afternoon as they, encouraged by more than 50 supporters, sat on the road to block a convoy of Disengagement Authority officials traveling near Shavei Shomron and Homesh. Among those reported to have been taken into custody is Kedumim Mayor and long-time Yesha activist Daniella Weiss.

Sometimes overlooked by the planned expulsion of nearly 8,000 residents in Gush Katif, the 500 residents of four northern Samaria communities are also on the chopping block. The move will leave practically the entire northern Shomron in Arab hands, and place areas such as Netanya, Hadera, Afula and others under the same threats they faced before the Six Day War.

Mayor Weiss, contacted by Arutz-7 while she was waiting to be interrogated by police, said, "Three of us, all women, have been arrested as we bodily prevented the disengagement bus from going through. The police struck us, and I am full of bruises... The bus, filled with 50 army officers and officials involved in infrastructures, electric, telephony and the like, was blocked from going into Sa-Nur and Homesh [two of the four Shomron communities slated for demolition], as the residents refused to allow them to enter... I can tell you that they had no personal contact with any of the residents."

Asked to comment on the ramifications of Israel's withdrawal from northern Samaria, Mayor Weiss said, "Everyone who lives on the coastal plane from Haifa to Tel Aviv must be aware that if, Heaven forbid, this area falls into the hands of those who say they are the successors to Arafat, the story will not end here, but in Ramat Gan and Herzliya."

Sharon's idiotic plan to evacuate Gaza and the Northern West bank is not only stupid, but dangerous. During previous wars, settlers helped slow the advance of the Arab armies.

Jews are being uprooted from the land God gave them, and meanwhile the Awful Horror is sitting on Mount Zion.

I say Israel should deport the Palestinians to the Arab nations by force, kill any who resist, and bulldoze the Al Aqsa Masjeed mosque or whatever the Muslims are calling that monstrosity.

Even the Yesha Council now advocates physical resistance en masse.

The Bolshevik, self-hating, traitor has a world of trouble on his hands and it will only get worse for him.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a few "settlers" shot early on (G-d forbid) as a demonstration of power.

With the huge troop and police committment to Operation Judenrein, this would be a prime opportunity for the other enemies of G-d and Israel to attack.

Israel just keeps digging deeper and deeper.

That is how you win an Indian War. I wonder why they haven't done it.

They havent done it because there are too many self-hating liberal appeasers like Shimon Peres and Yossi Beilin in the Israeli Parliament, who think that its "unfair" to treat the poor sweet Palestinians in such a manner. After all, these people only want a "state of their own."

And also, if they did that, the smug little hypocrites of Europe will start whining about Israel being an apartheid state and demand economic sanctions.

But eventually, I think that the Palestinians will be deported, regardless of what Europe and the liberal Israelis think.

"The Bolshevik, self-hating, traitor has a world of trouble on his hands and it will only get worse for him. "

I think stupid Arik (Sharon) does mean well by his misguided, self-destructive plan. He wants to ensure that America and the world will recongnize Israel's claim to parts of the west bank in exchange for Gaza before some imbecile like Shimon Peres or Yossi Beilin give Tel Aviv to the Arabs in exchange for peace.

But his plan is folly. Israel is the only country in the world that is expected to make such suicidal concessions. The Arabs will never make peace with Israel. They wont stop until every Jew in the region is dead, and we know how the Arabs treat the captured Jewish women. I'm stunned that some Israelis are insane enough to support the cession of the Gaza strip to the Arabs. In exchange for NOTHING!!

The motto of the Israeli left has changed from "land for peace" to "land for nothing."

The only solution is to evict all the Arabs from Israel.

I think that if Israel is to survive, they must change from a secular state to one based on Jewish law. After all, the main claim the Muslims have to Jerusalem is religion based. If Israel chooses secularism, and gives up it's Jewish religious claims to the Holy Land, the Arabs will have won.

And it's rediculous that Arab Muslims are voting in the Isreali elections. I bet they all vote for Labor and the Communist Party.

Or maybe Shinui.

Sharon better think about what he's getting himself into, if he wants to be rememebered as a War hero, rather than an appeaser.

Giving the PA all of Israel except one grain of sand will not be enough. How many times do they have to tell the world - their goal is the total elimination of Judah?

Wrong.

Filthy arab muslim nazi terrorists want to *kill* all the Jews and take their land.

Jews want to return filthy arab muslim nazi terrorists to Jordan - not kill and not take land.

Therein lies the difference.

arabs/muslims: kill, conquer, steal land.
Jews: return arabs/muslims to terror sponsoring host countries of origin.

Many just wish it was like before millions of Jews decided to flee the rest of the world and move to Israel. While some have resorted to killing to achieve this, that in and of itself isn't suprising. Jews were willing to engage in terrorism to drive out the Brits and establish their country. Turnabout may not be fair play, but it is history.

Arabs, and most of the rest of the world, consider West Bank and Gaza to have been conquered and stolen via killing.

Jews: return arabs/muslims to terror sponsoring host countries of origin.

If that arab/muslim was living in Tel Aviv in 1946 where do you want to put him?

The Israelis arent suicide bombing the Arabs or firing mortars and rockets at their towns to kill little children.

The Israelis have the right to evict the Arabs because the Arabs refuse to make peace with Israel, and are bent on destroying the Jewish State and all the Jews in it.

The Israelis have nuclear bombs. If they wanted all the Arabs dead they could do it in 10 minutes.

If the Arabs ever get the A-bomb, do you think they would for one second hesitiate to nuke Israel?

Of course they wouldnt hesitate. Even the Arab Israelis, who vote in Israeli elections, hate Israel.

The Israelis have taken enough from the Palestinians. Its time to throw them out.

And then bulldoze that unsightly mosque.

Exactly. The Arabs will never be satisfied until they kill all the Jews.

An when the Arabs lived in Eretz Yisrael, before the Aliyahs, they just liived in tents and stole from each other and did nothing with the land.

When the Jews came, the Jews drained marshes to make farms, and turned a desert into a superpower.

And now the Aranbs want to live off the hard work of the Jews. That's why in all of the "peace processes" the Palestinians demand that the Israeli settlements are left intact when the Jews leave, so the Arabs can take over the homes, because the Palestinians are too stupid and lazy to build homes for themselves.

The Israeli Irgun [who engaged in "terrorism" against the BRitish] did not want to kill all British people. The Muslim terrorists want to kill ALL JEWS.

When the Irgun bombed the British HQ, they even called ahead and told the British commander to evacuate the building. The commander's answer was "I am here to tell the Jews what to do, the Jews are not here to tell me what to do."

The commander ordered his guards not to let anyone out of the building, so it was his fault that there were casualties.

"Arabs, and most of the rest of the world, consider West Bank and Gaza to have been conquered and stolen via killing."

Who cares what the Arabs think. The West Bank and Gaza belong to the Jews, As James Inhofe said, "Because God said so."

"If that arab/muslim was living in Tel Aviv in 1946 where do you want to put him?"

In an Arab country.

I hope you're just playing devils advocate Gunslingr3. You dont really support the arabs do you?

"I say Israel should deport the Palestinians to the Arab nations by force, kill any who resist,..."

The Israelis should continue building the wall that keeps the so called Palestinians out of Israel proper. That will probably compel the rabble to turn on each other. Ultimately, (hopefully) they'll leave the area on their own.

There seems to be no peace possible with these people. I know that if I were in a position to make decisions with them, I'd certainly not concede a single thing. I wouldn't exterminate them or force them out either. They need to get their collective act together, and that seems quite unlikely to occur anytime soon.

Israel is under siege (again) but this time the bad guys are quite unable to conquer them.

It makes me wonder about you some.

"Clarify please."

I can't exactly explain it, but you seem to stress the indiscriminate killing of adveraries a lot. Certainly Israel has the ability to exterminate her enemies if they seriously need to. I believe that.

The Israelis choose not to. They apparantly are unwilling to lower themselves to the same standards of their foes.

Perhaps the political pressures from other countries is a factor, but in a crunch, International politcs will not be considered when it comes to survival.

Israel is after all a civilized Nation. Diplomacy and tact has a place in the world in the affairs of nations.
