REP. HENRY WAXMAN INVOLVED IN CODE PINK'S AID TO THE 'OTHER SIDE' IN FALLUJAH

Democratic Rep. Henry Waxman (California) is reported to have given a letter to antiwar activists to facilitate their delivery of aid to the 'other side' in Fallujah, Iraq.

The leftist online publication Peace and Resistance, in an article published January 1, said that Rep. Waxman had written a letter addressed to the American ambassador in Amman, Jordan to help ease transit through Customs of $600,000 worth of medical supplies and cash collected by the anti-American groups Code Pink and Global Exchange. According to the groups' leader, Medea Benjamin, the aid is destined for the "other side" in Fallujah.

The letter was being carried by Fernando Suarez Del Solar, an antiwar activist whose Marine son, 20-year-old Jesus A Suarez del Solar Novaro, was killed in Iraq on March 27, 2003 when he reportedly stepped on an American cluster bomb fragment.

Mr. Suarez is being accompanied on the trip by fellow parents of soldiers killed in Iraq, as well as several family members of those killed in the September 11 terrorist attacks.

One Iraqi, when informed that parents of American soldiers killed while liberating his country were giving aid to the "other side" in Fallujah, asked, "what kind of people would help those killing their own sons and daughters?"

That's a question the House Ethics Committee should be asking Rep. Waxman.

Peace and Resistance story.

I feel sorry for the man who's son died. I wonder if he realizes what a fool he is making of himself. I know the Warrior would be ashamed of his father.......such a shame. I wonder if he (the father) realizes what damage he is doing?????

Chance that this will be reported in the MSM: 0%

Chance that Waxman will face legal reprecussions for this: 0%

Lucky you have Jeb Hensarling---he looks like a real possiblity in the future. I've seen him on C-Span and have been impressed.

My rep is Joe Barton, I believe he will be receptive to my call and e-mail.

Dershowitz made a fortune on the litigation ripoffs against "big tobacco". He likely has some real problems with some of that from the past and has opted to keep himself on the side of power. As always.

Now there's a real press-shocker.
But you've got to admire Waxman's sense of sacrifice...foregoing
a nose-hair trimmer in order to give humanitarian aid to murdering terrorists...
that cheered the execution of Margaret Hassan, no doubt.

Yes...I have heard Dershowitz make some reasonable sounds since 9/11, but I feel he has done SO much damage over the years with his relatavist BS (no one is ever really guilty of a crime) that it would take another lifetime for him to totally undo what he has done. Sorry to sound like a hardass, but there were too many nights when he was on the tube that I wanted to put a 9mm slug into the TV.

Thanks for alerting us to this appalling action by a US Representative. I've written mine:

Dear Congressman Peterson,

I read this weekend that the anti-war, anti-American activist group Code-Pink has sent over half a million dollars in aid to the predominantly foreign insurgents in Falluja who are trying daily to kill our soldiers and prevent the birth of democracy in Iraq. I later read that one of your colleagues helped make it possible for their aid to actually reach the insurgents. I'd like your help with 2 things:

1) Code-Pink should be investigated for treason (giving aid and comfort to the enemy in the War on Terror). At the very least they should have their non-profit tax status revoked.

2) Representative Henry Waxman should be investigated by the House Ethics committee for treason - aiding the enemies of these United States.

Please let me know if and when any of these actions will be taken. I feel these activities of both Code-Pink and Rep Waxman are un-American. It's one thing to disagree and protest the actions of the government; it's another thing entirely to do that and then send food, medicine and money to those actively trying to defeat us.

Thank you for you attention to these matters.

Mr. Suarez is being accompanied on the trip by fellow parents of soldiers killed in Iraq...

You know, they keep printing "accompanied by parents of soldiers". There was one woman listed in the other article whose son was killed. As you read the articles it looks like that Medea had a son killed, which is not the case.

I wonder just how many soldiers' families are affiliated with this group?! As far as I can see, it is just one mother. The fact that are making it to look as if a large number of parents involved is just as bad as them aiding these people.

Has Waxman completely lost his mind? This, I believe, is treason.

I have seen Medea Benjamin on TV a lot!!! She is a nut-case.

Also, I wouldn't put it past her organization to be funding the insurgents. After all, it was her group that was going to Iraq before the war and meeting with Saddam and standing in front of Oil facilities and such. Their "other side" is the "wrong side". Now, Waxman may play dumb if he is called on this and pretend he didn't know their intentions for the money, but that makes him either too dumb to be a Congressman or a traitor.

Take you pick, either one is unacceptable during war especially.

We may need to Specterize Denny Hastert and Nancy Pelosi's offices to get them to do something about Waxman.
