They will be starving within a year...
Kind of dumb, when they have bank accounts in the US and Europe.
Too bad Maggie isn't around any more. Blair won't say a word.
The New Mugabe-ism. The first victims will be foreign-owned, but that of course is only the beginning. I suppose the UNWFP had better start gearing up for Venezuelan famine in about two years.

Chavez is moving right along there, isn't he? With the support of his buddy Fidel and his new friend, Zapatero (Spain).
I saw this.
Another thing I've been following is his move to pack the Supreme Court. He already has a hand-picked Supreme Court, but they aren't servile enough for him, so he is going to add another dozen hand-picked judges to make sure they do his will.
Previously he has resorted to threatening his Court with arrest to enforce his will, but I guess thats not good enough.
They would never dare such a thing if Maggie were still running things at 10 Downing Street. We'll see if Tony has any backbone left. They ought to have British commandoes parachuting in there with full air support as they did in the Falklands.
Do the Brits still have military assets in the Falklands?
How terribly sad.
Will the last investor to leave Venz please turn out the lights ?
The article gives little detail into the case apart from the fact that 3,500 hectares of the estate are owned by the state.
Without any actual facts involved it is a bit early to compare it with Mugabe. After all some of the land (but not all) is owned by the state. This seems to be more like an isolated incident.
one thing you'all can do:
do not buy gas at citgo.
citgo is owned by the government of venezuela.
si.
they moved the headquarters last year from tulsa to houston, after they purchased citgo.
