I'm just wondering how many of those troops were thinking "and we nearly got this as Commander in Chief, lucky escape".

This small group of soldiers are probably the only ones he could find who voted for him.

Sorry, John. Your 15 minutes are up.

He's probably over there telling them about how he was in Vietnam.

Gosh, only 300 or so days left on Kerry's Ohio hunting license. I would have thought he would be here doing his thing. After all, he LOVES hunting and Ohio.

former US presidential candidate John Kerry Notice they don't call him SENATOR Kerry. Gee, I'm watching C-SPan, and I didn't see him there at this job. Is he still collecting a salary? Does anyone in his district CARE?

Poor soldiers. I wonder if they drew straws to see who would have to meet with Ketchup-Man. (Losers, of course.)

U.S. Senator John Kerry . . . discusses the state of the troops morale . . .
In other news, Typhoid Mary is tending to sick people.

Kerry thinks these kinds of photo-ops will help him in '08. He doesn't have a clue that '04 was the closest he will ever get. '08 is Hillary's. Even if Hillary doesn't run, Kerry won't get the nomination again.

U.S. Senator John Kerry , D-Mass., discusses the state of the troops morale at Camp al- Tahreer (Liberty) in the Iraqi capital Baghdad, January 5, 2005.I wonder if he's hearing what he wants to hear? Judging by the look on his mug, highly unlikely :-D

When was the last time he was in a war zone?
Did he ask if they really needed the $80 billion he voted against?

"First off I'd like to reassure all of you that what you saw from me during the campaign was not the real John Kerry. It was just politics, don't believe what you saw, I'm not some kind of flake!
To be perfectly clear, I'm not the kind of guy that wears a barn jacket to public affairs. My valet and I both hated that barn jacket- as any person of taste would.
Now that I've reassured you all on that point I'll respond to any criticisms of the Bush administration that the media have given you to ask me."
