It's a good thing Frist decided not to go nuclear. That would have made them _really_ mad! :-/

The neighbor kid -- nice guy, will probably grow out of it -- is all worked up about this. It's really quite an interesting dynamic.

NO!
Welcome to FR.
The Dems have nothing and the know it. They are likely trying to create an issue for 2008.

The dims are destabilizing the whole process by mounting endless phony claims.

---

Exactly. The only reason you are supposed to challenge a delegation is if there is fraud. They are trying to deligitmize Bush (it would be the same no matter who it was - unless it was a dim).

THIS HAS GOT TO STOP! We have got to stop these guys from destroying our democracy.

I'll bet not even one of them is up for reelection in 2006. ;)

I sincerely believe that's one of their main objecives, since they know they won't be able to win fairly conducted elections anytime in the foreseeable future.

Additionally, they can smear W, and the up-and- coming black conservative, Blackwell in Ohio.

They do this at their own peril. I would not want to be the rumoured Pubbie to join. It means death, in the political sense.

McCain campaigned actively for Bush. He won't contest the results.

"Maybe someone who is going to retire after this next term??"

Even so, whoever it is, even if they are "retiring", they might have problems getting their retirement checks. LOL
I can't imagine anyone being that STUPID!!!

Democrats have nothing. With this move, they'll have less than nothing.

Actually McCain was my first thought. I had heard that Jeffords outright stated that he wouldn't have anything to do with a challenge.

Actually I would laugh my a$$ off if there was a challenge. I'm a registered Independent, I don't like Republicans or Democrats - no offense - I just have serious disagreements with both. My favorite quote is:

Liberals and conservatives are two gangs who have intimidated rational, normal thinking beings into not having a voice on television or in the culture. - Jon Stewart– The Daily Show

Welcome to Free Republic!

It a 25 minute delay, that accomplishes absolutely nothing, proving further that some Dems are kookier than ever.
