Posse! >>
Is that what you are calling our military in Iraq?
Like I was saying...
Educate yourself.
You're talking in circles.
I'm sick of Mexico, Mexicans and of our unenforcement of immigration laws!
I'm an immigrant with an American husband who is a transplant patient.
Have any of you been to an immigration office before? Do you know how slow the legal process is? And the provisions are putting the immigrants and their American spouses under financial and mental stress.
I can't leave the country until my immigration process is comlete. I've been married for two years already. Recently I got my work permit. Before that I had to work as an illegal. My husband cannot support both of us.
I'm amazed how America does not ake care of its Citizens and make it even harder for the multinational families. Both parties suffer.
I babysat many moths with my master's degree in enguneering. Right now I pay social security and medicare, but I'm not eligible to claim any benefits. I also pay the federal tax as much as the citizens do.
I'm not resentful to pay taxes that won't benefit me. I'm only resentful that I'm not treated as a person to my abilities and to my respect to this country.
As an immigrant who is not allowed to leave I'm paying for my husbands medical bills.
It is a matter of emotion. The law effects real people.
Please don't try to see it apart from the people.
Just to you know what would hapeen if I left before my immigration process is comlete. I couldn't come back for 3-5 years. Then wou would pay for my husbands medical bills?
I, along with generations of my forefathers, was born HERE and am an American citizen. I haven't left my country for a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow but continue to stay and work for the wishes of my fellow citizens. One of those desires we have is to close our borders and some, like me, would like to see diplomatic relations severed with countries like Mexico.
I too have graduate degrees and worked hard going to night school to achieve my PhD. I paid all the fees myself!
I don't know what's wrong with your idle husband lady, but surely there's something he could do besides stand beside you while you whine about how tough it is on you in America.
It's clear from your comments that you don't believe the welfare trough contains enough goodies for you to dip into.
