This is newt though.. Kerry was pretty much a no name.. Newt on the other hand is well known and well hated by a lot of people. Id rather have Guliani or even Mcain in there just to get another "R" in the whitehouse.

Kerry would never stand up and face what he did and admit it and apologize for it. Newt may have made mistakes, but he is an upright and honest man. If there isn't more in the closet, he could transcend his mistakes.

OTOH, I don't remember the details of his downfall, but they seemed trivial to quit over. Tends to make one think there's more where that came from.

Actually, I don't think he wants to be president, just to shape the debate some and pull the eventual nominee to the right and to that I say "Hallelujah, my brother, Hallelujah!"

The only republican that can win in 2008 will be one that "TALK GOOD"..
Newt can stand toe to toe the best and win..
Only problem is moralizing right.. Whom will probably go with a faux "clean" candidate.. A pissed off Newt is the way to go.. Newt just might close the borders with a slam that be heard even in Vermont.. Actually Newt jumping on the close the borders wagon just might make "THE" conversation for the 2008 elections.. Federal TRAINS to take the millions of illegals back to Mexico would drive the democrats to distraction.. and force "mistakes" on their part.. it would also FORCE Americans to face "the truth" of the matter.. whether he was elected or NOT..

Yeah!.. Newt running in 2008 would be a GOOD thing.. a very good thing.. Actually would force republicans to be either republicans or RINO's too.. Newt just might add in a few comments on WHY is treason literally LEGAL in this country.. and ask, "Would HANGING traitors to this country, be a BAD thing ?".. Would push faux republicans over the edge.. and bring a reality break to american politics..
