Gingrich was always the most intelligent politician in my view. He seems to gave fell into the "me" syndrome over the past few years.

Yes, but would you vote for him? Would he win the primary?I don't see that happening.

You said something to be pondered. Newt is a great "politician" - but presidents can not be only politicians - they need to be leaders first and politicians second. In fact presidents during the early years of our nation never went out campaigning - the act was considred beneath a president and was left to advocates to do. Newt also does not have the moral fibre for the office, IMHO.
