'AIR AMERICA' RATINGS TURBULENCE IN NY CITY: Surprising many observers who expected it to shine during election season, all-liberal upstart WLIB (1190 AM) -- base station for Al Franken and Janeane Garofalo -- actually headed south, shedding 15% of its summer audience to finish fall at 24th place in just-released ARBITRONS...
Franken just go away!
Oh, darn! What a cryin' shame!
Also, didn't someone recently pour a ton of money into Air America?
But, but...Al just signed a new contract! How can it be?
Board, as well as stuned.
Golly. That's a real shame.
{{Can't stop laughing... must hide...Bwahahahahaha!}}
I thought these clowns were supposed to cease broadcasting on November 4th? Afterall, the stated purpose of that network was to defeat Bush. Well, they lost that fight.
Damn, I meant "bored" typing too fast again!!!
liberals want to listen to "music". Talk radio is for idiots who can't think for themselves. And when liberals feel the "need" to listen to news or analysis, they tune to tax-payer funded NPR. At NPR they give unbiased news ... and if liberals want to get real informed about the "truth" they read the newspapers from the UK and then watch the BBC. After this they know more than any Limbaugh-listening hick red-stater.
A: Start off with ten million dollars.
Air America stock is an unfair tax for the stupid. Only the stupidist 1% of Americans can write off their Air America stock losses.
The show called "This is a test, If this was an actual emergency" had better ratings than Al Franken (Stuart Smalley)and Janeane Garofalo
Maybe their theme song should be "So much for my happy ending..!"
Brill's Content, TALK Magazine, AirAmerica...
They served their purpose, now their time is over.
I sometimes listen to Err America on the net, just for fun. Talk about "sound and fury signifying nothing!"
It is so unthreatening as to be mildly amusing, like listening to the drunk at the bar, holding forth on the solution to the world's problems.
LOL!
Who were these observers that thought it would do well? Okay, Katie was one. Anyone else?
That sounds remarkably like the Michael Savage show.
