I just hope they don't change their tune and start changing their message.
Their current strategy of "Bush is a dumb, drunk frat boy and we just need to get our message out better and energize our base" has swept repubs into the house, senate and Prez.

Here in Northern Indiana, home of WOWO in Fort Wayne, we have no sympathy for the current holders of the 50,000 watt license for 1190 AM.

They can't get elected being themselves. They have to fake being closer to conservatives and elect judges who make changes without the people toward liberalization.

I agree and Clinton figured that out after his first mid term election. I just hope they don't get a charismatic liar like him again that can effectively pretend to be a moderate.

Well, we won't get Hillary if we out her statements, votes and actions.

Personally I think she's unelectable. People vote for people they have a warm feeling about. Carter, Reagan, Clinton and Bush were all people who have a "folksy" warm quality about them.
Hillary is too cold. She's worse than Kerry on this factor.

Incredible. I had no idea that Air America was still breathing.

Maybe their theme song should be "So much for my happy ending..!" Or, "I'll Feel a Whole Lot Better When You're Gone"

I would use the term "breathing" rather loosely. When I think of Air America in terms of a breathing analogy, I think of a 400 pound fat man who has asthma smoking a cigarette while running on a tread mill. Just let that imagery and sound swim in your head for a little bit for maximum affect. Its the best way to understand the state of Air America

Err America needs more cowbell! And if I can offer a purely technical suggestion, the Phoenix affiliate needs a fresh pair of D cells in its transmitter. When I come down the hill from Sedona I have tried tuning this thing in, and it sounds like an emergency transmission being beamed from a mudflat in Sri Lanka. The signal is overlaid with at least two Mexican stations, plus a yowling sound like wind through a screen door.
Why do I listen to it at all? Because there are so few liberals in this state that the station had to fork over its morning drive show to a Libertarian in a vain effort to get any ratings at all.

...They can't even bring themselves to even Bush's Name ("*"). This is new since the last time I visited the DUmmies' site of shared delusion. Very popular though. Anyone know the story behind this one? Obviously they don't want to print Bush's name, but a "*" seems pretty silly and mild. I'd think a derogatory convolution like "shrub" or one of their other humorous alternatives would be more popular.
"*"?????
Also, I agree that the "moran" spelling was intentional. I've seen the picture someone referred to. No party is immune to having their own special "morans".

That's why I say entire website addresses as often as possible. I love saying the www part (Dubya, Dubya, Dubya)

The Dems keep talking about making a prolife person head of the DNC. Now THAT will be a day I'd tune to DU.
We should see some world class hysterics on DU that day.
