As much as I despise Kerry, I have to think the picture is reversed. Once someone has been in the military, especially as an officer, the salute becomes second nature. Saluting with your left hand is like drinking through your nose.

Look closely. Too soon to tell definitely, but in the photo "US Air Force" is running the right way. Might be a more clever photoshop job, but I can't say the photo was simply flipped.

Something about this picture looks funny - notice the out-of-focus edge of the face of the gentleman on the right, yet the absolutely sharp edge of sKerry's face. And sKerry looks significantly better lit than the other gentleman.

Not that I doubt for a minute that sKerry might botch a salute - to use the Dan Blather defense, "While the document may be fake, we fully believe the content." :)
