Not mincing words. The Islamic powers co-exist with the Gov't in a live-let-live relationship. The Islamicists do not want ANY outside influences, Christian, individualism, liberty, etc. so it is not just a Christian thing. As long as the population is kept in line the Gov't will not interfere and the Imams do their part to keep it this way.

Islam can't coexist with the government. History, tradition and a simple look around tells you that if religion is not the government, it's not an islamic state.
