It's about halfway through Oprah's T.V. show today, where she is terrorizing millions of american wives by making them wonder if their husbands are secretly gay.
This is one of sickest episodes of Oprah yet! But, the way this show started was to talk about how N.J. Gov Jim McGreevy came out, and how his wife handled it.
Then, the kicker. At about 4:25 pm, Oprah says to one hapless dude who is spilling his guts on T.V. about how he cheated on his wife this gem: - "studies show the number one reason gays marry women is Church and Family", right?
Church, Oprah? Church, ABC? So, the MSM has no agenda?
This show is an example of why our nation is utterly a mess at the hands of these godless MSM types who shove this crap into TVs across the nation, filled w/ latch key kids. Oprah and Jerry Springer and Povich are all the same...
Now, THAT might hurt ratings, right Oprah? You and your ABC handlers ... abc and oprah spell corruption.
None of this is the least bit surprising.
Bump & Ping
How are you able to watch this so close to dinner time? I would lose my appetite.
I don't watch Oprah. Boycotting.
Well, Johnny bin Lindh is one kid who reacted strongly to his father 'coming out'. Although you never heard that mentioned much by the MSM.
In the light of this.... Jerry Springer Show has a CLASS !
I've often wondered if Stedman was using Oprah to cover his own preferences.
I was, and am, willing to respect Oprah Winfrey for her business acumen. Anyone who can get where she is from where she came from knows how to overcome adversity.
But I heard her say something one day that completely drained any respect or consideration I had for her.
She thinks the family is obsolete, and said so in a statement I am at a loss to remember exactly. It is typical socialist "it takes a village" claptrap. For someone in her position to advocate that is just plain wrong.
And I'm sorry...I know she did some nice things for the families of some of the troops, but I just cannot accept a concilation with her world view and her gift giving for some of the families of the troops. In my opinion, all PR.
She's a sick and unhappy woman, IMO.
Who is this Oprah?
LOL, now we wouldn't want that to happen...
I don't get Oprah's appeal, and why she's been on so long. I work with people who have to rush home from work so they can catch her show.
I've read about her life story and it's pretty interesting, though. She's a very intelligent woman.
But he should expect that from Oprah, I shouldn't have expected it here.
"Well, Johnny bin Lindh is one kid who reacted strongly to his father 'coming out'. Although you never heard that mentioned much by the MSM."
Hmmph - that IS news to me.... Sort of like the DC sniper Malvano and the boy he kept w/ him, yes? (For you sure don't here much about that either from the MSM). BTW, source on Lindh's Dad?
"studies show the number one reason gays marry women is Church and Family"
Balderdash. There are no such reputable studies.

Perhaps - but did you see her audience.... !?
Sick.
Did Oprah cry today? It is thursday and she usually cries on thursday. Cries with about as much conviction as Bill Clinton.
I gave up on her a long time when it became obvious that whatever affliction her guest suffered from, at one point in her life Oprah suffered from it also. If her guest was a former heroine addict then Oprah will cry remembering her own heroine addiction. If her guest suffered discrimination in the workplace, then Oprah would cry about when she was discriminated against herself.
If her guest was abducted and anally probed by space aliens, then Oprah in tears will regale her audience with the tale of her own anal probing by space aliens.
Oprah has opinions like that because she has now children of her own. She take on "causes" that involve kids, but she has no clue what being a real parent is all about.
Nah. Steadman has way more class than Oprah has, and there is no way he is gay.
"Oprah has opinions like that because she has now children of her own."
I didn't know that - how dreadful. How many? Adopted? Is there any kind of Dad at her condo?
What's with this MSM stuff?
First they were fags; duh, the lefties said that is prjoritive; so they became homosexuals; duh, that became pejorative; so that became gay; duh, that became pejorative; so now the faggots are MSM?
Who is telling the right wing how to describe perversion?
Commies were commies until they needed to hide their identity. Then they became socialists, progressives, democrats, democratics, and now back to progressives.
Call a spade a spade. A fag is a fag.

Enemy intelligence is always valuable. And pointing it out to others is helpful to the rest of us...
["Oprah has opinions like that because she has now children of her own."

I meant to type "she has NO children of her own". Sorry it was misleading.
And .. since she's too selfish to have children of her own .. she has no idea how children see things or feel things that are going on in the children's home.
Exactly. And, being the Dad of two young teen ladies, who love all that pop crap out there, I occasionally pick up a copy of YM and check out what they are telling them to think about too...
For years I have said Oprah is as dangerous as Hillary--in her own way, which is to undermine American morals and conservative values.
I don't think she's wrong. I have seen a few times that men who married and later described themselves as gay have said that they married in the first place to have a "normal" life and to have a family. That would include V. Gene Robinson, currently acting as ECUSA Bishop of New Hampshire.
Come On!
Even Mullah Omar could tell from a hundred yards away that this guy is a fruit.
'Who is this Oprah?'
Think of her as Jerry Springer, only with class (Hahahahah)
I can't stand her myself. My brother's wife thinks she is so in touch with everybody and so sensible and reasonable. But she's also a big fan of 60 Minutes and 20/20.
I think he's a closet Oprah-lover.
"I meant to type "she has NO children of her own". Sorry it was misleading."
No problem. In some ways, thank GOD she has no kids. In other ways, I wonder if she had a husband who loved her and kids of her own if she'd ever, ever allow them to watch the garbage she puts on TV.
Apparently, that's the kind of stories women like. Look at the Lifetime channel--all the movies they show portray women as victims who are either hunted or abused by evil men.
During the entire show, she never attacked any of the men for the harm they committed against they women they married. Instead, all the men, and women, were 'victims'. I don't normally post about her, but when she said most gays marry women b/c of the 'Church', I blew a fuse....
Adversity? because she is black- she is a victim. I don't call that adversity. I call that liberalism. No offense to poster, I just cannot stand Oprahs type of victimhood.
I have to say that normally I really do enjoy watching Oprah, she has some good and emotional shows, however, this was not one of them. I read this article and immediatly turned on the tv, as Oprah had barely started in MN, I saw about 2 minutes and I was disgusted..."During this show, women WILL find out that their husbands are gay.." wow...i cannot believe her, what a disappointment...
"Oprah says to one hapless dude who is spilling his guts on T.V. about how he cheated on his wife this gem: - "studies show the number one reason gays marry women is Church and Family", right?"
Seems consistent with my observations. Church and family aren't the reason they're gay, and they're not the reason they cheat on their wives, but they sure do seem to be the reason so many of them marry women. I've seen a lot of this clinically...
How is wife handled it was with large doses of Prozac. Did anyone see the way that woman looked as she stood by his side when he announced he was a gay American? My God, she was so zoned out it wasn't funny.
She's using them all the way to the bank.
She's "empowered," doesn't "need" to get married, doesn't "need" to have kids, and most of all she emphasizes ANY and ALL subject matter which happens depict men as weak, lazy, foolish, liars, mutants, or....feminine.
Some some reason, this helps her audience cope with their "loser" boyfriends and husbands.
"Church and family aren't the reason they're gay, and they're not the reason they cheat on their wives, but they sure do seem to be the reason so many of them marry women. I've seen a lot of this clinically..."
I'll take the chance here, and take your entire comment at face value.
Two questions: given that church and family aren't the reason they are gay, what in your clinical opinion ARE the common reasons they are gay?
Other than your clinical experience, do you have sources that back up your agreement w/ Oprah's statement?
