But i had thought Buckheads post was only about 20 minutes after the show aired, not four hours.

The famous post #47

It was posted just before midnight EDT, a few hours after 60 Minutes in the east.

I wonder if CBS has learned the wrong lesson from this to not post the source documents on the internet to be reviewed by pajama-clad amateurs?

< Namely, a blog is an online opinion posted for discussion, and not a web 'journal'. >

Au contraire. I think this article is the first to "get" the distinction between blog and website. It's nice to finally see something reported correctly.

The truly dark side of modern liberalism can be seen in the rise of a "politically correct" news media. It has not been receptive to political conservatives and our traditional Judeo-Christian culture — and it has gone out of its way in recent years to condone and even glorify everything from drug use to same-sex marriage. Since the culturally corrosive Woodstock era, the "old media" led by CBS and the New York Times increasingly mocked traditional values and lifestyles as outmoded, racist and intolerant. Their unofficial motto evolved from that 1969 rock/drug/sex festival — "If it feels good, do it."

In 2004 the "Buckheads" of America pushed back in a counter-revolution.
Well done, Jim, Buckhead, TankerKC, and Howlin.

Words –especially new words- are fluid. I've searched blogs and forums for what could replace the Freerepublic, (and I've looked) ----there ain't nottin'.  That's why I'd say it's not the Freerepublic becoming a blog, it's ' blog' becoming the Freerepublic.

" God bless you Jim, and FR. Imagine what you have done on a shoestring budget compared to this: "

It just shows that god given intelligence is better than 65 million dollars of belly button lint between the ears of a cute face.

Thanks guys and ladies.

Dear Buckhead ... were you contacted as part of the SeeBs probe - or perhaps did they finally realize that your post stood on its own with no further need of explanation, despite the best efforts of MSM to impugn your motives?

The only thing keeping the MSM alive now is the very, very old (who do not access the web) and the very out of it types who never will access the web. When they are gone, the web will have all the focus. It will be interesting. The MSM can stay where they are to sell Chevrolets or something.

I remember posting on that famous thread that night and reading "Buckhead's" famous analysis. Is the thread still on file in the archives of FR anywhere?

Karl, that IS a good question. I'm sure they're not going to help the bloggers out like that again. However, if they refused to make their so-called hard "evidence" available for scrutiny, their motives would certainly be under a great deal more suspicion. . and the "evidence", if hidden, would collapse under the sheer weight of their scrutiny avoidance. They can't win at that game, which they know, if they've thought it through.

Sweet. What is great is that the "New Media" is only getting stronger and more credible, the reverse being true for the lamestream presstitution racket. Even better: it is only going to get worse for the latter. Think dinosaurs. Hehehehe....
