Jeez, asstart, you weren't listening to those hearings, were you? That document WAS historical in nature. It said that intel indicated that AQ planned to hit the US. That's like saying bin Laden owns a prayer rug.
As to the meetings, well, we were so busy coming up with a plan to actually initiate a war against al-Qaeda that Condi didn't have time to stroke Richard Clarke's ego.
