If anyone knows of a speedy site from which I can download SuSE 9.2, I'd appreciate it.

Here's a list of the SuSE download mirrors. Which one you should use depends on where you are. Choose the one closest to you.

Thanks, but that's the list I was going by. Tried various ones from the SE and Puerto Rico.

I finally got a download from Czech late last night. Didn't run an md5sum on it yet to see if it's worthless or not. I'll try that tonight.

Heh. Sometimes you just gotta work your out, huh? If you're trying the SE, I suppose you tried the sunsite mirror. That has got to be the slowest site I've ever tried to get things from. I wonder what they're running?

If you're still interested, I live on the coast of Georgia and find the National Labs in Illinois at mirror.mcs.anl.gov with /pub/suse/i386/9.2/ to be a lot faster than anything local. I've been ruuning 9.2 via ftp install for quite a while now but I'm ready to pony-up for the 9.3 disks soon. I've bought 6.4, 7.2 and 8.2 before.

Have you played with coLinux any more? I just stumbled across the article and thought I might give it a go on my W2K work laptop.

But Windows is the dark side.

It looks as if Win4Lin 5.0 Workstation Edition is available, per www.netraverse.com/products/win4lin50/index.php. This looks like a lower cost VMWare to me.
