People on earlier threads have said that although the court is very liberal, some of them may have consciences. Let's hope that's true.

I don't think there is a chance in the world that SCOTUS will reverse them if they give it to Gregoire. The Lautenberg precedent makes that pretty clear.

I'd be willing to bet that Gregoire will not be the governor in six months. The WA SC will decide for a re-vote. There is not even the least bit of doubt in my mind. There is a precedent for this situation in the state of Washington where there was far, far fewer votes in dispute and a much, much larger margin in the hand count.

At least three are not liberal. None of them are so stupid that they would rule against a revote, especially with all the publicity about this case and the fact that three of them will be facing possible re-election in less than two years; none of whom are the three non-liberals.
