Did the FCC ever fine cBS for attempting to tamper with a Federal election? I would think that offense alone would be enough to shut them down completely, but I haven`t heard one peep from the FCC about that. They seem to think that a woman showing her nipple for a split second is more damaging to this country than that network tampering with a Presidential election, but what do I know.

I watched an episode where these girls acted like they would have sex with this boy after they got him down to his underwear they tied him up and threw Horse dung on him. As I watched I was thinking "this is kiddie porn" . There is no doubt in my mind if any pedophile had put this on a website he could have been arrested. Is this what people feel has a right to be shown on Network TV?

Just because a network does it instead of a pedophile doing it doesnt make it allright.

Doing battle with the Soddomites today David? I scanned through the thread quickly and didn't see what I feel is the ONLY question that has any relevance to the discussion: Given a society/culture/nation/whatever, has the right to expect and enforce some minimum standards of behavior on its members; where do we as a group draw the lines?

If history, particularly the Bible, holds any lessons, it would be that our society...etc, seems to be heading in a direction that will ultimately lead to moral collapse. Of course, that would just be the beginning of the end.

A simple test(for a simple mind) to me is, is any given behavior dragging us in the wrong direction, or leading us in the right direction. Clearly, most of the smut on teevee(and elsewhere) is not leading us to the promised land.

I guess they might drum up emails to government, but the emails are likely to be less informational than this post, which is nearly non-existent.
