Where did I say that? But you you were mistaken, the AWB did not go away because of any courageous consevatives standing on principal.

An AWB is not winning in my opinion. The 100 people serving in The U.S. Senate are the coniving oppurtunists who will do anything they can to maintain their power. An AWB is a good start for them. There are enough John McCain's in the Republican Party to give the AWB a good chance of passing. If they pass this then the Republicans will not be getting any more default votes from me.
