Tim Green played in all the NFL cities of his era. He said the most vile fans were Iggles fans...
Or where a flyers jersey to a ranger game
oh yeah - those 82 passing yards have me shaking in my baby booties.
Of course, every time I've been to a game there, there is more Green and Gold in the stands than cardinal red. Favre says playing in Phoenix is like a playing a home game in a warm climate.
What are you referring to?

Funny how that got over looked, huh?
Maybe it was Vick's 119 rushing yards - ?
Or Warrick Dunn's 142 rushing yards - ?
Philly is going to have their hands full - anyway you look at it.

My opinion of Philly fans comes strictly from first hand experience at The Vet and Lincoln Financial - they are foul-mouthed, unshaven, knuckle-dragging morons who don't even bother to wipe the vomit from their chins.
And that's just the chicks.
Never said he was, except by association. The team is getting more and more thuggish, though, and he isn't stepping up to call folks like Moss out and have them clean up their act.
Agree on the NFL (or baseball or basketball or soccer) fans. The problem is when the teams cultivate the attitudes. Both the Vikings and Eagles are teams that cultivate the 'bad boy' image. With the Eagles it really came to a head with Buddy Ryan. I don't think they've ever looked back. I think it is a part of Philadelphia's culture, too.
The Titans, for example, don't seem to have that culture. I don't think the Packers do either. I have to think about each team, trying to seperate my team preferences from the culture they sell. Your own guys are never the 'bad guys,' unless, of course, you're a Raiders fan. ;^>
My niece wore a Broncos jersey to the Eagles/Broncos game in 87
Great - except the Denver Broncos didn't visit Philadelphia in 1987. (home games vs. NO, CHI, DAL, WAS, NYG STL, MIA, and BUF). Are you a liar as well as an idiot?
Then we have the Cheering while Michael Irvin was being carted off the field
translation: jeering deion sanders's "look at me" witch-doctor dance around him
the Santa Clause incident
forgive us for being dissatisfied with the clearly drunk santa substitute (the original one was absent).
booing the selection of Donovan Mcnabb
as opposed to the giants and jets fans, whoi boo their selection every year. (not to mention the 30 philly fans were upset simply that mcnabb was NOT ricky williams)
hth.
Again, are you disputing that Philly fans threw batteries?
If so, you are lying and you know it.
If not, I expect you to retract the accusation that I was "baseless philadelphia-bashing".
yeah, just like 2 years ago, right? when dawkins hit him so hard he wasn't the same until next year.
michael vick isn't a quarterback, and jim johnson will handle him easily.
I don't know for sure, and neither do you. What I _can_ tell you is that the most dangerous thing I've ever thrown at an Eagles' game is some expletives at Randy Moss.
Off topic but what the heck ;-)
Just watch a re-run of the Condi Rice's Senate hearing today and Boxer and Kerry excoriating Ms. Rice to get an answer to that question. ;-)
About the only thing Boxer didn't do was challenge her to a mud wrestling match.
Actually, I'd have to vouch for NE fans as the best behaved I've run into.
I'm not a Pats fan, but I've been to the Pats home stadium twice wearing the other team's jersey, and never gotten anything more then friendly ribbing.
So, you can't back up what you claimed, and won't retract it. Not surprising...
Aren't they the same fans that pelted a Santa with snowballs (back in the late '70s) and cheered when Michael Irvin got hurt? So much for brotherly love.
I know. Boxer is a pitbull wearing lipstick.
She is so dumb, she burned her bra but forgot to take it off first.
I forgot about that.
I bet Vick hasn't.
